25: His Point of View

''you know how to cook anyway, buti nandyan ka.'' i said, he chuckled. ''yeah i do, by the way, i made some seasoned kale chips, alam kong diet kayong tatlo.'' sabi ni anthony, napangiti nalang ako, sakto! i'm hungry but i'm not allowed to eat snacks and sweets until maxein's birthday.

''really? nasan?'' i asked, he took the bowl from the ones in the other counter na nakatakip, at mukhang bagong luto pa ito, fresh from the oven.

''here.'' he smiled, kaya ako naman na kinain ang chips na iyon habang pinapanood ko muna si mama lina.

''you guys seemed to know each other.'' sabi ni mama lina, with a beautiful feminine smile forming on her face, nagkapalitan kami ng tingin ni anthony.

''well yes, we're good friends back in highschool.'' i lied.

''wow? really? look at that! such a small world isn't it amber?'' mama lina said, after we helped mama lina, uuwi na ako at uuwi narin si anthony, kaya ihahatid nalang din ako nito sa mall para mamili ako ng susuotin ko bukas, i need a new bikini that will show my best asset.

nang pumasok na ako sa loob ng kotse ni anthony, i put the seatbelt on and he turned on the soundtrack, and the song is our theme song back in the days, and this car? this was his car 6 years ago, since maingat naman talaga sa gamit itong si anthony kaya itong kotse niya buhay pa.

''So amber, kamusta kana?'' he asks as he pulls the lever from his right, ako naman napatingin sakanya. 

''Good, i've improved myself from being.. so sensitive to being stronger than before.'' i said with a smile on my face, he smirked. 

''sorry about the dinner last week... i thought you've cha--''

''that's nothing, people thought of the same thing anyway.''

''so... did something changed inside your car? mister gomez?'' i teased as i tried to look around, siya naman na napatawa. ''nothing much actually..'' he said.

''kamusta pala kayo ni marina?'' i ask.

''fake marriage is fine, how about you with maxein? di ka naman napa-fall?'' he asks, napatigil ako dun sa sinabi niya.

''O-oh.. i get it, you guys are really in love?'' he asks, habang angda-drive na siya, parang tumahimik ito, i nodded at what he said.

''Akala ko fix lang, my bad.'' he said, i shookt my head puckered my bottom lip and looked at him. 

''at first it was fix, but now... you know, we really love each other.'' i said. ''ikaw? how about you and marina?'' i added and asks.

''My marriage with marina is fix, same for marcelle and tasha, kaming dalawa ni tasha ay nandyan lang para sa pera, if only i could marry someone i promised to marry before.'' tumingin siya sakin, his soft green eyes are really attractive, and the way he looks at me has feelings.

Anthony's POV

Damn it! you asshole! bakit mo sinabi yung huli?!

''Tsk, anthony grow up, we we're young we don't know what we're thinking back then.''she giggled.

yes, it's true, i didn't know what was i thinking back then when i first met you, sobrang bata mo pero pinatulan kita, best 2 years of my life and i just left you for a fix marriage.

''Heh.. yeah, my bad.'' i answered, fakely chuckling to remove the akwardness of myself.

''i'm jealous.'' i said as i tried not to look at her and focus on driving through the drive way.

''why?'' she asks.

I'm jealous cause maxein's at your side, na dapat ako ang asawa mo ngayon at wala ng iba.
