Chapter Eight

The boys and I went out to a restaurant in town that they’ve grown very fond of since their stay here and I couldn’t complain because even I loved the place. Of course we were spotted and of course we were greeted by sweet fans and not so sweet photographers who were piling after each other just to get the right photo. We all sat in a booth which was not that roomy considering there were 5 of us but it was all good since everyone was so comfortable around each other. I sat in between Luke and Michael and had my legs touching Luke’s because of the limited amount of space. As I waited for everyone to finish their food I was looking down towards the table to my phone when I heard clicking noises from next to me. When I looked up Luke was taking selfies of the both of us, I immediately pulled out my middle finger just for him as he took the next set of pictures

“Hey put that finger down Josie!” Luke said pretending do be appalled by it.

He put his hand on mine which was placed on top the table to hide my finger and slowly intertwined all his fingers in mine

“God I’m gonna miss this when we leave in a few days,” Ashton said

“A few days?” I choked out

“Yeah we’re back on tour… Didn’t Luke tell you?” Calum asked

I quickly let go of his hand before glaring at him

“No he didn’t,” I said

“I was going to bu-but I was just waiting for the right time,” Luke mumbled

“So the right time was two days before you actually leave?” I asked

“Josie can we not talk about this right now,” Luke whispered leaning into my ear so the others wouldn’t hear

“Fine,” I stated putting all my attention back onto my phone which I now placed on my lap. I heard him let out a loud sigh as Cal, Mike, and Ash went about their previous conversations.

As I was looking through my twitter I felt Luke’s hand on my thigh next to me and I tried to ignore it the best that I could. He slowly ran his hand down my arm as he held his hand in mine

“I’m sorry” he texted me making his name show up on my phone

“I just wish you told me sooner…” I texted back tightening my grip on his hand

“It’ll be okay. We’ll talk everyday and we’ll have you fly out to see us it’ll be like we never even left”

“I’ve been on tour a lot Luke, it’s not that easy”

“We’ll make it work”

“Well I still have two more months with you so I guess we’ll have to make it work” I leaned my head against his shoulder and took in a deep breath

"Come on tour with us," Luke blurted out

"What?" I asked

"That would be so cool! All of us on the road together!" Ashton commented

"I don’t know if I can just pack up my life like that," I said

"You’re not. Think of if as a vacation. We’ll be writing music anyways, you help us and we help you," Michael suggested

"I wanna spend time with you guys but I don’t know about having to see your faces 24/7," I teased

"Shut up Josie you love our faces," Calum said

I was in deep thought for a moment contemplating on my answer until Luke’s voice interrupted my mind

"Please come," he whispered in my ear letting his lips lightly brush against my skin

"Okay. I’ll go,"
