Josie’s P.O.V.

It was finally time to get ready to head to the venue for tonight’s concert. It was pretty crazy considering the guys had one more month of tour left so we were all trying to have as much fun as we could while we were out here. After tour, they were planning on going home for a few months in Australia, and I couldn’t be more thankful. You could see how homesick they were every time we were in a new state, every time they spoke to their mums on the phone you could see how happy it made them just to be able to hear their voices. I get it though. The road gets hard after a while, this gig is amazing don’t get me wrong, but being able to actually go home to see your family is like a privilege with our schedule

“This is unbelievable,” I said as we made our way down the hallway to the elevators

“What is?”

“You haven’t been home in a year Luke! You’re finally going back in a month,” I smiled

I looked up at him as we entered the elevator but only found a stone cold expression on his face

“What’s wrong?” I asked nudging him with my elbow as the elevator made its descent to the lobby

“I’m going home in a month,” He sighed

“You’re supposed to be happy! I went a year without going home once and seeing my family made me cry like I was balling when I saw my dad at the airport, where’s your smile Lucas?”

“I’m leaving you behind,” he said finally looking down at me

“It’ll be okay, it’s a few months back home Luke, you deserve it, you really do,” I wrapped my arms around him as he did the same, resting his chin on top of my head, I snuggled my cheek into his chest, the quietness of the elevator ride making his heartbeat sound evident through the thick flannel he wore

“It’ll be weird not seeing you every day,”

“You will, Skype was invented for a reason silly,” I said trying to lighten up the mood but to no avail

“But I won’t be able to touch you, or kiss you, or-”

“Let’s just focus on now Luke. I’m with you now, let’s make the most of it,” I said as the elevator doors slid open

Before stepping out I stood on my toes placing my lips on his, but pulled away quicker than it started just to get him going for the day

“You’re such a tease,” he laughed as we walked out into the lobby meeting the rest of the guys

Hotel security got all the fans out of the hotel and kept them outside, so I guess you can say exiting the hotel was going be a little meet and greet. This time nothing was going to stop me from meeting them though. The angry tweet from yesterday made me realize how wrong I was to say that. Not everyone hated Luke and I together and for those who did, it was just too bad for them

Luke’s P.O.V.

As we were heading out the hotel, Josie had a new strand of confidence running through her walk. I don’t know what it was, but she didn’t look scared to see the fans this time

"Luke!" I heard one of the fans call out for me behind the barricade that the security had to set up

Josie, the rest of the guys, and I went our seperate ways as I came to the side to take pictures and sign some things

"Luke how’s you and Josie?" One of the fans asked

"We’re going great, we’re really happy," I said smiling at Josie as she was taking pictures with the fans across from us
