Maggie's POV:

I don't move a muscle after the words he said. He wouldn't... would he? I turn to him meeting his gaze. His eyes seem dark and full of anger.

He's insane. Who knows what he is across willing to do, just to keep me away from Shawn

"Not that confident anymore, huh?" He chuckles. I say nothing trying to find a way to get away from here. I was so close. I can't go back with him. He's going to hurt me or Aaliyah.

„Listen, we already made some people suspicious, so you are going to follow me quietly now. You understand?" Damian whispers leaning towards my ear, the hand with the gun hanging by his side which is hidden from the corner of a building.

„And put a smile on your pretty little face for me." He adds, standing normal again. A cold shiver runs down my spine as I nod, keeping my eyes towards the floor. "Good."

„Come and give me my phone back now."

Wait." I whisper, desperate to find a solution. "What?" He asks, annoyed. "I um... can we..." I mumble, looking around. "Maggie, don't test my patience. Give it to me." He grumbles, stretching his hand out.

This might be the stupidest idea I ever had but what else should I do? I sigh, pulling it out of my pocket and just as I was about the lay it onto his hand, I "accidentally" drop it onto the floor.

„God." He mutters, ducking down to get it. Idiot.

Quickly, I kick with all the strength I have into the area where it hurts him the most. Adrenaline pumping through my veins as a loud noise fills the air while he kneels down groaning.

Screams are audible as I see the people starting to panic. He pulled the trigger as I kicked him. F*ck.

Is something hurt or were it just screams out if fear? I was too caught up in reaching my target to notice. Whatever. I can't think about that now, I have to leave.

"Maggie!" He shouts and was about to stand up again but I kick the gun out of his hand, punching him into his jaw. "F*ck you." I spit out, grabbing the gun as I start to run into the moving crowd.

The security didn't notice me since they are too busy with attempting to calm all the people but no chance, they are hysterically trying to leave all at once.

I could easily crawl over the barriers. The music stopped playing and I could see how Shawn's bodyguard, is about to lead him off stage.

„Shawn!" I scream to the to of my lungs but it's no use. I almost get run over by as I keep pressing my way trough all the people. "Shawn! It's me, Maggie!" I yell, hoping he would hear me before he goes off stage.

"Shawn!" I scream, desperation filling my body as I think about what awaits me if he doesn't hear me. I push a past the people a bit more, shouting his name over and over again.

This time I see him turn around, a confused look on his face as his eyes scan the place in front of the stage. "Shawn!" I yell, almost being in front of the stage.

He keeps looking but his bodyguard urges him to go backstage. "Shawn! Stop!" I jump waving my hand around, as I get pulled away by the crowd. I watch as his eyes, wander around again. He heard me.

„I'm here!" I shout, pushing trough the rest of the girls and boys. I wave my hand again, catching his attention. He pinches his eyes trying to see where the shouts come from.

Suddenly, it all felt like slow motion as I see his eyes widen. At first he doesn't move an inch but then I see him mouth my name, as he rios his arm out if the grip of his bodyguard.
