Maggie's POV:
Quickly, I climb back into my room and sneak over to open the door. I peek my head through the gap of the slightly opened door, looking down the corridor for Aron. I couldn't see him anywhere so headed towards Melly's room.

I check up and her before sighing relieved. He wasn't even in here. As I close the door again, I feel a sharp pain in my back, my front colliding with the wall.

Whimpering, I hold my head, knowing that this isn't gonna end well for me. "Look at me." Aron commands sternly. Too scared to move, I just stand there with my back facing him. "Are you deaf? I said look at me!" he shouts, pulling me around by my hair.

I shut my eyes in pain as he still has a tight grip on my hair. "Did you wanna go somewhere?" he asks still slurring a bit. I shake my head as well as I can do. "Don't lie to me you worthless little girl." Aron laughs bitterly and yanks me with my hair towards my room. Pushing me onto the ground, he shuts the door close.

"You know what? I don't even wanna know where you were but I'm gonna make sure you don't do it again." he warns. "I swear I'm not going to just leaves again. I'm sorry." I whisper while moving towards the window. He stumbles after me.

"You don't want to know what's going to happen when your mother dies. But it looks like you will find out soon." he whispers into my ear after pulling me up by my shirt. I could feel the tears stinging in my eyes. His words hurt way more than the punches he's currently throwing at me.

He slaps me harshly which causes me to stumble and hit my head on the edge of my bed. I wince, starting to see blurry. I could feel a kick into my stomach, making me cry out loudly. Hot tears running down my cheeks. "P-please stop." I stutter, feeling more and more numb.

Praying for this to be over soon, I close my eyes. "You should start listening to me Maggie." he spits angrily. With a grunt he let's go of me and heads towards the door. Along the way he knocks over a shelf where pictures in glass frames are standing.

Most of them fall to the ground and shatter to pieces. I blink a few times, trying to see clear again but it doesn't work.

Attempting to stand up, I hold myself up on the edge of the bed. As soon as I'm on my feet, I fall onto my bed again. After some moments of just lying there I manage to stand up. I reach my hand up to my pounding head only to see blood on it after pulling away.

I slowly walk into the bathroom not wanting to look into the mirror. I can imagine too well how I look right now. "Maggie?" I hear a quite voice ask from my room wich is connected to my bathroom. "I heard screaming. What happened?" Melody asks, coming nearer.

I quickly shut the door. She can't see me like that. "Melly, you probably dreamed that. I was just so clumsy and knocked over the shelf. Sorry for waking you up but go to sleep now okey?" I explain. "Oh okey. Can you please come with me?" she asks.

"Melly I can't right now sorry. Just try to sleep again. Love you." "Okey... love you too." she sighs and I could hear her little footsteps becoming quite as she heads to her room. Finally looking into the mirror, I sigh aswell.

I'm not even shocked anymore. Dark circles are around my eyes, a blueish bruise on my jaw and a cut on my forehead are grazing my face. I grab the first aid kid and clean up the cut before placing plaster on it.

As I lift up my hoodie, I can also see a bruise across my stomach and on the right side of my hip.

After climbing into my bed again, I suddenly hear my phone ringing. "Shawn" I read out loud what's standing on the lit up screen. He wants to FaceTime. Shit.

I would love to hear his reassuring voice and see his adorable fave right now but I ignore the call. He'll think that I'm asleep.

Shawn's POV:
I'm pacing up and down my hotel room with a view of the skyline of New York. Anyone would be amazed by the hundreds of lights outside but I can't even think straight.

Since I got off the plane, I got so nervous tomorrow. I just... what if they don't like my voice at all.

Andrew, my soon to be manager if everything works out well, already called me. He said I have really no reason to be nervous but I just have to hear that from Maggie agin.

So I decided to call her. Waiting for her to pick up, I sink down onto the bed, tapping my foot onto the floor.

"Pleas pick up." I mumble but sigh as I notice that her mail box goes on. 11:23 pm stands on the clock. Well, she's probably asleep. I run my fingers through my now messy hair. How am I supposed to sleep now.

I try again to FaceTime her. I know I know. It's not nice of the boyfriend to wake up their sleeping girlfriend but I need to see her now.

I groan quietly as she still doesn't answer. I guess this is going to be a sleepless night.
