Maggie's POV:
A picnic. I look over to Leah and see that she isn't really fond of it. Me neither but we haven't done anything together in a while and I'm sure Aiden would like to get to know us better.

We walk to the little hill. It's not far, we only need about 10 minutes. "You did what?" I laugh. "That's not true Luc! I didn't cry when Elena and Stefan broke up!" Aiden huffs crossing his arms. "Yeah sure you didn't. It's not like I have a video of it !" Luc chuckles holding his phone up.

If looks could kill, Luc would be dead by now. We arrive on the hill and sit under a big oak tree on a blanket. I sit down and Shawn sits right next to me. Aiden sits on the other side of Leah next to Luc and his girlfriend Shelley. She's actually a good friend of mine.

I should really ask her to hang out sometime again. Leah sits on the other side of Shawn and puts out plates and sandwiches for us. She gives Shawn a plate and smiles sweetly while she moves closer to him. Very close. Too close! What is wrong with me ? Am I jealous?

What no. Why would I be, Shawn is my best friend nothing more. I look away and see Shelley smirking at me. I shake my head but she just winks at me. Oh no. I look away from her again. We talk about random things and school but we have a lot of fun. Aiden tells horrible jokes. They are so bad that you actually have to laugh at them.

I see Aiden and Leah talking. She laughs at him and he smiles down at her. Oh my god they would be so cute together. We eat the sandwiches and muffins. Shawn eats four of them. I laugh. Typical. It's getting really late and I feel my eyes closing. I lean my head on Shawn's shoulder and suddenly I feel an arm laying around me.

I smile half asleep. I feel a bright light through my closed lids.
I open my eyes to see that Luc took a picture of us. "Send me that picture." Shawn laughs. God I love his deep laugh, it's so calming. I turn my head and see Leah looking at us in the corner of my eye.

She looks pissed. What's wrong now? I was about to go and talk to her but she's already standing. "Guys it's really late. Shawn could you drive me home since my house is on your way home?" She asks sweetly. Wow she has mood swings. "Sure I have to go anyways." Shawn replies, stroking over my back. He stands up and says goodbye to everyone.

"Maggie I can drive you if you want." Shelley offers. Oh no. She will definitely ask me about Shawn but I don't want to walk home, so I agree. As soon as we sit into her car, she turns to me grinning. "What the hell was that?" "What was what?" I mumble, blushing. "The way he looked at you and the way you looked at him! Come on even a blind person could the love between you two!" she squeaks happily.

Love? "Umm...I don't know okey? He's my best friend. Nothing more." I whisper. "But you want it to be more right?" She asks. I just lean my head against the window sighing. "Sorry Maggie, I don't want to pressure you after your last horrible relationship but if you want to talk about it just call me." I smiles at her as she starts the car.

"Oh and did you see how Leah was looking?" She asks quickly glancing over to me. "I guess... she looked kinda pissed but why?" "I don't know... it's probably nothing." Shelley replies. She opens her mouth to say something but closes it again. I don't ask. I just want to sleep right now.
