I can't breath
I can feel you behind me
Feet falling as did mine
So I increase my pace
But so do you
I'm constantly checking behind me
And each time you're closer
I'm praying you'll give up
But you show no signs of that
No matter what I do
Turning down well lit streets
Going in circles
Nothing works
You're still there
I can't breath
I ask strangers for help
Because the threat they pose
Is less than what's coming from you
You back off
Not interested in a difficult target
So I finally go home
Supposedly safe
Never seeing you again
But still...
I can't breath
I'm awake all night
Glued to the window
Surveilling the street
Scared that somehow
You managed to find it
Managed to find me
And are coming back
And I still can't breath
It's been weeks
And you still haunt me
