Silence.

Angelize didn't respond to his question either.

She didn't even look up as she continued to read the book. Her face was full of profound concentration as she seemed unfazed by the intense gaze that rested upon her.

It was as if she didn't hear what Christain had said.

Christain lips curled up.

So this is how she's going to hide herself?, Christain thought.

"I wonder if you know Noah. He is my cousin. A few days ago he showed a video to me", Christain said quietly and carefully observed Angelize face for anything.

Angelize stopped reading and rapid, right to left movements of her eyes stopped immediately. But she didn't look up.

Christain detected that change and continued slowly.

"I've to admit your combat skills are pretty good. I couldn't believe my own eyes"

Angelize licked her dried lip but didn't say anything. An air of indifference still surrounded her.

She didn't want anyone to know about her martial arts. But it was fine as long as not much people knew about it.

A couple of students had witnessed it themselves and also three to four students had seen the video before it was taken down. But the number was too small to start an effective rumor. However with Christain position, he could start an effective rumour.

But for now no one believed that such a delicate girl took down three big guys on her own. That girl can't even kill a mosquito by the looks of her. It was surely a false rumor.

"My cousin had spent quite a time to modify that video and it was one of his masterpiece. But unfortunately someone hacked into his account and took down his video", Christain gazed at her keenly to pinpoint any further change.

But now she was frigid as ice. He could not penetrate into her thoughts. So he continued.

"And not only that, the person left some virus into his account destroying all of his videos. My poor cousin suffered quite a loss. He mourned for a whole weak. He took his laptop to me but even I couldn't recover his video. Just what kind of virus that was? I wonder who was the person behind all that damage"

Was he deliberately saying that? Was he implicating that she was behind this?

But it was impossible.

She made sure that she didn't leave a tangible reason so that no one would get suspicious of her.

Indeed Noah was quite unhappy after the incident but he never suspected Angelize. And she was most likely a commoner so with no prominent background. How could she hire such a professional?

And also with less than average grade she couldn't have done that herself.

Of course they didn't know that she had deliberately kept her grades average. Class tests were a piece of cake for her. If she wanted, she could easily have scored 100 out of 100. But that was all a part of keeping low-profile scheme.

After all in Imperial College the toppers were advertised world-wide.. Their face would be published in college magazines, emerge on social media, form a head-line in newspapers.

That was the reason behind Christain fame.

On the other hand Zayden seemed to be the only possible culprit. He could easily hire a professional to put down that video. Because the video aimed at defaming him, so he had at least a feasible reason.

So any sane person would suspect Zayden.

But how did Christain came to suspect her?

Was it because of the advanced level book she was reading?

But it was not a trouble for her for now. Even if Christain suspected her, no one would believe him. He had no way to prove it. Angelize used an anonymous account and her IP was thoroughly hidden. She was using 10 VPNs.

Angelize seemed unbothered by his implications. She didn't plan on answering him. But then thought that keeping the silence would seem like she was admitting.

She raised her head once and their eyes met. Christain saw her emerald green eyes for the first time with this close distance. She was overall a beauty but her eyes...

Those were the most mesmerising eyes. Though cold as ice, those eyes could pierce the numerous hearts and wound several souls. Those jade like clear round eyes-they had a unique dazzling spark in them.

Christain found himself thoroughly bewitched.

"This matter has nothing to do with me.", she said concisely. Then she looked down back at her book and continued to read.

Only once her face turned down, back to book, had the charm broken and Christain stumbled out of daze. His heart was pounding in his chest.

A charming smile blossomed on his face.
