Chapter Twenty-Seven

I wasn't in a deep sleep but was semi-dreaming. I could hear a continuous ringing and beeping, thinking it was my alarm I woke up to turn it off. "Sorry babe. It's my phone, I'm putting it on silent." said Ruby sounding croaky. "Go back to sleep," she said cuddling me close, her head againsty my chest. I opened my eyes, looking at her. In the dim light coming from the window, I could see a tear that had run down her face. I was intantly alarmed. "Rubes, babe whats wrong?" I asked sitting up on my elbow trying to study her.

"Just go back to sleep, I'm okay." she said trying to cover her face from me. I leant over to turn the lamp on. t flicked on and I moved Ruby's hand away from her face so that I could see her properly. Some of her makeup had smudged. I wrapped her in my arms and hugged her tightly, I hated seeing her upset, especially seeing her cry. Tears still ran down her face as I held her close to me.

"What's wrong princess?" I whispered after a few minutes.

"Everyone's going to hate me." she said.

"No-one's going to hate you, beautiful." I assured her

"Christi's the one who took my camera Luke." she wailed. A wave of fury came over me. "She's recovered my deleted photos." Ruby continued. I didn't quite get it. "There is a picture of Ryan and I spread on the intenet." she stopped crying and tried to explain. I felt a bit sick about what she had just said. "It's old. It was taken at a party two years ago. I deleted it off the camera but not off my memory card. I never thought I would see it again." she started to cry again. I held her face on my hands and kissed her. "Whatever it is babe, we'll get throught it. I love you." I told her.

"I don't want you to see it." she said mumbling into my chest.

"Ruby, I'm going to see it someway. I know its old so why are you worried?"

"I don't want to hurt you!" she said. I took her phone from under her pillow and unlocked it, opening twitter up. I put my arm around her as I read all of the tweets. Fans were going mental. Some were supportive, stating that it was old, others completely unforgiving. I hated seeing fans talk badly about Ruby, and as I scrolled down, the negative comments built up. Outraged, I logged out of her twitter and into mine creating a tweet.

@luke_brooks: Both @ruby_williams and I are completely aware of the photo that had been leaked.                            We ask you delete it if you have saved or released it. It is an old photo that has ended                          up in the wrong hands. Very disappointed in some people :/

I couldn't belive how fast it had spread around and how it had affected Ruby. I was so pissed off with Christi and honestly some fans aswell. My girlfriend had been traumatised by her own past just because one person's jealousy. I decided to make a keek, explaining the situation to the fans. Both Ruby and I wanted this to be out of the way as soon as possible. I finished posting the keek and kissed Ruby on the kips, trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry Luke." she said.

"Dont be, babe" I assured her.

"You know I love you to the moon and back." Ruby told me, kissing me back.
