This car ride is probably the most awkward car ride in the history of car rides. Everyone is silent. Someone needs to break this silence. I usually love silence but right now I hate it. I have to end this horror.
"So........ Me and Ezra have some things to discuss about the future when we get to the restaurant. I guess this is kind of why we invited you two out for dinner." I say to get a conversation going and to lighten the news later. I hope this doesn't end really badly. Like I know this will end badly but I don't know ~how~ badly. Whatever happens, please, please, please can this not end in the start of World War 3.
"I'm guessing this has to be important if you are taking us out to dinner." my mum says. "You aren't engaged are you?!" she asks.
"Oh god no Mum. Well not yet anyway." I say. Few she doesn't expect what's coming at her. Is that a good thing?
