Qichen who was still soundly sleeping instantly woke up from the sudden pain and unconsciously loosen up his grip in which the boy could get away easily.

He rubbed his forearm while showing an aggrieved expression.

“Can't you wake me up nicely?”

“This male lead is beyond saving.” Said He Tian.

Shi Shen, ”......” He is broken beyond repair.

Seeing him look like this Shi Shen couldn't help but recall the Nian Qichen that he has just met when he first arrived in this world and compare with the current Nian Qichen.

With an impassive face, Shi Shen answered,”Who told you to play this kind of joke on me?”

With a dissatisfied face, he turned around wanting to get out but he suddenly heard Qichen’s soft mumble causing his step to falter a little bit. Still, he pretended not to hear and exited the room.

“It is not a joke though.” Qichen gave wry smile as he stared at the boy’s retreating back until he finally disappeared did he fall back to lay on the bed, silently staring at the ceiling.

He knows that he shouldn't be feeling this way towards him but he couldn't help it. Before he even realized it his head is already full of him.

Wanting to ignore his feelings he can’t, wanting to confess his feelings he didn't dare to because he knows that he doesn't have any chance with him.

He knows that the boy didn't think of him that way, even now is the same.

The corner of his curled into a sly smile, his eyes were crafty making his sculpted like-face to become more charming.

Shi Shen gave the test to the teacher and unhurriedly went out causing others couldn't help but raise their heads to look at him, speechless at how fast he gave up on the test.

Everyone believed that Shi Shen filled his paper with random scribbles since he cannot answer the questions but what they don't understand was that why every teacher always showed a disbelief expression once they saw his answer sheets?

Nevertheless, they still thought that perhaps Shi Shen just gave them blank answers which caused them to be speechless.

Regardless of what others thought, Shi Shen steadily walked out of the building when suddenly a familiar notification sounded.

“Side mission: Give Nian Qichen a birthday gift. His level of satisfaction should be on an extremely happy level.”

Shi Shen abruptly stopped. He knows that 6 days from now on will be Nian Qichen’s birthday but he didn't expect to trigger a side mission concerning him.

“I think you will succeed if you just wrap yourself up as a gift for him.” He Tian jokingly said since it was rare to find the opportunity to tease him.
