TW: slight panic attack

Jace and Finn were at Jace's house. It was Friday, and Finn was helping Jace get ready for his date with Casey. Jace was nervous, and Finn could tell.

"Jace, you look like you're about to have a panic attack," Finn said, putting his hands on Jace's shoulders. He put two fingers up. "Can you tell me how many fingers I'm holding up?"

Jace looked at Finn's fingers, blinking a couple times. "T.. two," he said.

"Can you identify three objects in the room?"

Jace looked around the room. "Pillow, desk, tv.." he said, feeling himself calm down a bit.

"Good," Finn said. "Now, let's pick out an outfit for you to wear on your date with Casey."

"Okay.." Jace said.

The two boys looked through Jace's closet, rating each outfit out of ten. Finn smiled brightly, pulling out a pink jumper, white skirt and pink socks.

"Here," he said, handing the outfit to Jace. "Try this on." Finn went over to Jace's dresser, which had all of Jace's flower crowns on it. Jace got changed behind Finn. Finn grabbed a pink and white flower crown and then turned around and handed it to Jace, who was now dressed.

Jace put on the flower crown. "Well, how do I look?" He asked Finn.

Finn gasped. "You look amazing!"

Jace smiled and turned to look at himself in the mirror. He had to admit, he did look good; even if he didn't have his makeup done yet.

"Okay," Finn said. "Let's do your makeup. Casey is going to be here in twenty minutes!"

*

Just as Finn said, Casey was there twenty minutes later. They had finished doing Jace's makeup a few minutes before and Finn left.

Jace scrambles down the stairs when he heard a knock on his door. Taking a deep breath, Jace opened the door, smiling at Casey.

"Hey," Casey said. He handed Jace a single rose, to which Jace smiled.

"Hey," Jace said back. "Let me put this in a vase then we can go."

Casey nodded, taking in the beauty of the shorter male. Jace ran off with the rose and put it in a vase with water, then came back to the door, smiling at Casey.

"Ready?" Casey asked. Jace nodded, taking in Casey's outfit. Casey was wearing a light blue button up shirt, and black ripped jeans. He looked very good in Jace's opinion.

They walked out of Jace's house, slowly lacing their fingers together. Both boys blushed, smiling at each other. They walked to Casey's car and Casey opened the passenger door for the younger.

"Thank you," Jace said, getting in Casey's car.

"You're welcome," Casey shut the passenger door then walked over to the drivers seat. He got in and started up the car. Casey pulled out of Jace's driveway and started driving to their destination.

It took about twenty-five minutes, but they pulled up to the opening in the forest that was so familiar to both of the boys. Casey got out of the car first, and opened the door for Jace to get out.

Jace murmured a small 'thank you', and got out. They walked to their special spot, hand in hand. Jace let out a small gasp when they got there. There was a small picnic set up and there was a fuzzy blanket. The air felt so fresh and Jace couldn't help but feel at ease from it, and from being with Casey.

The boys sat down and ate the food that was in the picnic basket, making mindless small talk. It didn't have any sentimental value, but it meant a lot to both boys.

"Wanna stargaze?" Casey asked, to which Jace nodded. They both laid down, and Casey put the fuzzy blanket over them; it was starting to get a bit chilly.

Jace looked up at the stars. Casey couldn't help but stare at the beautiful boy next to him. Jace noticed and turned his head to look at Casey, smiling.

"I'm not the stars," he joked, poking Casey.

Casey laughed, smiling at Jace. "Yeah, well I think you look better than the stars."

Jace blushed, still smiling. "Thanks.."

"No problem," Casey said, looking up at the stars.

"Casey?"

"Yeah?" He said, looking back at the blonde-haired boy.

Jace blushed. "Can I kiss you?"

It was now Casey's turn to blush. "Mhm," he hummed.

Both boys turned on their sides, facing each other. Casey put his hands on Jace's waist and Jace put his hands on the back of the punk boy's neck. Both boys were nervous as they leaned in.

Their lips met in a soft and gentle kiss, their lips slotting together perfectly, like they were made for each other. It was a short kiss, but it was perfect to both of them.

Both boys smiled at each other as they pulled away. It was silent for a bit, as the two stared at each other, before Casey spoke up.

"Hey, Jace?"

"Yeah, Casey?"

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

"Of course."
