Chanyeol stopped Baekhyun getting off of his lap. He moved to grab his wine glass when he felt a sudden sharp pain in his chest. Baekhyun looked down his eyes watering as he reached up for his chest. Blood was spilling through his top, he had been shot. Chanyeol's eyes widened and he jumped up to grab Baekhyun. Baekhyun let out a loud cry as his vision went black. Chanyeol let out a loud yell Baekhyun on his back. He held the wound making sure he wasn't bleeding too much when Kris and Jongin came running around the corner.
"Kitten wake up! Please, Baekhyun wake up!" Chanyeol shouted tears streaming down his face
Now
Chanyeol stood beside the small white bed his eyes red from crying as he watched Yixing and Kyungsoo stitch Baekhyun up.
"Will he live?" Chanyeol choked out
"Yes...He's lucky a centimeter over and the bullet would have pierced his heart. Chanyeol are you alright?" Yixing asked
"Good," Chanyeol said taking a deep breath
He kissed Baekhyun's forehead before turning around to leave the room.
"Chanyeol where are you going?" Kyungsoo called out
"To find who did this" Chanyeol spoke slamming the door
His footsteps were the only thing to be heard throughout the mansion. He stormed into the armory his eyes meeting Kris'.
"Where was he shot from?" Chanyeol spoke no emotion in his voice
He was back to the man he was before Baekhyun came around.
"This building right here, I've never seen anything like it. That shot was 2.7km away I can't even make that shot." Minseok spoke his eyes on the map infront of them
"Then I guess you need to fucking learn. Jongdae take him with you and go search that building."
Jongdae nodded pulling Minseok out of the room as Chanyeol started throwing around orders.
"Sehun you take Luhan and Junmyeon and dig into everyone who hates me or the Byun family. It has something to do with that. Look extra hard into who would want to ruin my life and rip everything I love away from me." Chanyeol demanded
"Yes sir" Luhan spoke up before all three of them left
"Kris forget about guarding me and guard Baekhyun. If he gets hurt again that's your life Tao is in this package too so take him with you." Kris walked out his phone coming out of his pocket as he did
"Jongin...Dig through everyone who works for me. We can't trust anyone except for the people who were just in this room."
Jongin nodded and Chanyeol left the room before him. Chanyeol wasn't going to let this person get away with this. They hurt Baekhyun. HIS BAEKHYUN.
Oof Chanyeol's back to his cold emotionless state yet on the inside he's ready to break.
