I grinned, heading towards the underground.

"Can I call you later? Nearly at the underground."

"Yeah sure."

After a sudden click he was gone, and I pushed my phone into my bag and headed down into the underground.

Back at home, I found myself looking back at tumblr, then twitter, then instagram, at all the pictures of me, to my surprise and dismay, there were many more pictures of both Dan and I in public.

The restaurant we visited a while ago where we started our relationship had many pictures scattered around twitter and people were freaking out about them. One image had over 500k likes, and hundreds of comments:

"Do you think they're dating?"
|
"yeah"
|
"it's not our business."
|
"She's wrecking phan."

"That's a really nice restaurant, tho?"
|
"ikr. They're clearly a couple if they weren't Phil would be there.

"dan clearly has bad taste in girls."

"Can everyone stop being a twat to her? Get out of their business. Even if they were dating, give them privacy. Stop making assumptions. She's probably distraught because hundreds of thousands of people are saying this shit about her. Back off."
|
"EXACTLY!"
|
"i couldn't have said it better myself. everyone needs to grow up."

I liked that comment, it was nice to know people understood.

On the other window, Dan's voice echoed through, as I pulled his little Skype video into the top right corner of my computer screen so I could navigate my tabs.

"They know we're dating?" I asked him, scrolling down tumblr again, this time on the hashtag #AvaVirtanen.

"They suspect; but they couldn't know for sure. It's all based on assumptions; I mean come on, they thought me and Phil were dating for 10 years."

Nodding, I continued to slowly scroll, taking in all the pictures.

"You okay?"

Closing the tab, I sat back on the pillows of my bed, pulling the laptop up closer to me.

"Yeah, I'm okay. You?"

Dan chuckled, grinning at me, "I'm fine. I mean are you okay okay? This must be weird, right?"

"A bit, yeah." I admitted, "I mean, I've never had a famous boyfriend; if that's what you mean?"

Dan laughed again, pushing his right hand through his curls.

As the conversation wound it's way onto other topics, I found myself wondering more and more about one question that had been bubbling up inside my mind. Even though we'd only been dating for a couple of weeks, I couldn't help but wonder.

"Dan?"

He hummed, looking up from whatever be had been inspecting.
