"I'll see you later, okay?" I pressed the phone between my shoulder and my ear as I checked through my purse, making sure I had everything I needed.
Today was the day I attended the job interview, and I was unbelievably nervous.
"Good luck." Dan chuckled, his voice breaking up slightly in between the words. The reception was always horrible in Ashton and Alex's apartment.

"Thank you- I'm gonna need it." I mumbled, sliding my purse up over my shoulder and heading out my room, adjusting my position and taking the phone into my left hand.

"Don't be ridiculous." Dan asserted, "You're gonna be great, I know it."

Smiling, I exited the apartment, heading towards the tube station, moving my way along the crowded streets of London. I sighed into the phone, trying to figure out where exactly is was headed.  I eventually spotted the underground sign a few meters away as I turned a corner.

"I'm nearly at the underground, so the reception is gonna break up." I mumbled, pulling my ticket out my pocket.

"Okay. I'll talk to you later. You're gonna be fine, don't stress."

A short tube ride later, and I was stood outside the skyscraper where my interview was scheduled to take place. It was much taller than the surrounding buildings, and much more modern; which just made me all the more nervous.

Taking a deep breath in, I adjusted my shirt, and headed inside, my heels clacking on the marble plated floor, the monochrome light from the industrial bulbs lapsing the room in white.
As confidently as I could, I headed over to the front desk, a small woman sat behind it, her thin hair greying slightly in its ponytail.

"Hello, I have a job interview with the magazine executive here?"

"Ah yes, what's you're name?" The receptionist smiled kindly, her voice was sickly and fake to the point it made my hair stand on end.

"Ava Virtanen."

She hummed, tapping her long manicured nails at the keyboard on her computer for a second, before looking up at me again.

"Alright, she'll be down in just a moment, take a seat, please." She continued to write on the sheets of paper infront of her as she was before.

Biting my lip, I went and took a seat on one of the black armchairs in the corner of the room, nerves stirring my stomach.

I breathed out, trying to calm myself down. I gained nothing going into this being as scared as I was.

A few minutes passed before I heard the soft clicking of stilletos as someone rounded into the lobby.

"Ava?" A voice piped up for beside me. I glanced over, a woman dressed in a black suit stood smiling at me.

"Yes?" I smiled wearily as I stood up, trying to stand as confidently as I could.

"I'm Sophia." She grinned, shaking my hand, "Dee has told me so much about you." She shook my hand, then lead me down a long hallway, where a set of white double doors stood at the end.

"Oh no." I joked, earning a laugh from Sophia.

"No, no. All good things, I promise. She's the reason I agreed to interview you, since I didn't have a resume or anything from you." She opened the doors, revealing a beautiful office, large windows stood either side of the desk placed in the middle of the room, a large set of bookshelves stood behind it full of folders and files.
