chloe's point of view

"Ava and Michael Ortiz! cut it out now!" i yelled from my room

"but Michael spilled the cereal all over!!" Ava yelled

"what?" i yelled back

i got out of my closet and walked down the stairs

"out of the kitchen!" i yelled grabbing a towel

"but i didn't-" Michael began

"mommy said out! now!" i yelled getting down to cleaning up the mess

today is a Saturday. and a work day for me. it's currently only 7:34 AM and these kids are driving me nuts. i finished cleaning up and went upstairs. Ava and Michael were in my room watching TV.

i look through my closet. i pull out a light pink sundress

"it's fall Chloe"  i thought

i put back my dress. i finally decided on black jeans a little ripped and over sized baby blue sweater with my black 2 inch heels. i did my makeup and but my hair into a pony tail. when i was done i got Michael dressed into black under armor track pants with a red sweater. i put Ava into black pants with a purple dress over it. i was downstairs while they were upstairs.

"hey!! Michael!!" Ava yelled

"Haha!!" Michael yelled back

"guys!!" i yelled

suddenly the door opened, expecting to see Ella... but no. it was the one and only Jace Ortiz. he was dressed in black nike sweatpants and a blue sweater with his adidas shoes

"Jace? what are you doing here?" i asked him "and where's Ella?"

"i wanted to watch them" he said coming into the kitchen with me

i slightly laugh "Jace you cant take care of those animals for 7 hours" i told him

"says who?" he said kinda mad

"when have you ever watched them without me?" i asked him

"ummm..." he responded

"exactly. now where's Ella?" i asked again

"she's not coming" he told me as he walked to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder "maybe you should stay home with us..." he said in a seductive voice

"nope not happening Jace" i said

"dang it" he said "look at me" he said turning my waist

"yes?" i asked

he quickly kissed me on the lips passionately. i kissed back. he tried deepening the kiss after almost a minute but i pulled away and he groaned

"why'd you stoppppp" he asked mad

"because our children are here and we aren't even together" i told him as he was mad and banged his head on my chest in disappointment, groaning

"but i love you" he said in a baby voice as i played with his hair

"jace we aren't there yet" i said

"we've been there" he said

"oh shut up" i said

"AVA!!" Michael yelled as we heard footsteps running around the upstairs halls

"Oww!! Michael!!" Ava yelled

"guys stop it!!" i yelled

i was about to head upstairs but Jace pulled my hand

"i got it. go to work and go out with your friends if you want" he said

"what? Jace you can't-" i started

"hey, Ella's told me what's there like. i can do it. now go have a good day at work, love" he said

"... oh okay... bye" i said heading near the door "call me if anything happens!" i yelled

"will do!" he said running up the stairs

"daddy!!" was the last thing i heard before i closed the door and got into my car

as i pulled in and walked inside i saw how packed it was.

"it'll be a stressful day" i thought

all day in my office i couldn't concentrate. i kept wondering how Jace was doing and the kids. are they okay? what were they doing? did they eat? so many questions going through my head.

once i heard my timer ring, i was so happy. i could go home and see my kiddies. i gathered up all my things and ran out of the building and locked up the doors

i drove home and when i pulled into the driveway Ella was standing there...

"oh hey Ella. Jace is watching-" i began

she handed me a rose "shh! walk inside..." she said pushing me inside

i slowly walked inside. what happened to my house
