Lapis pov

I glare at alexa as she approaches us.

Peridot steps up but she rushes past him and stops infront of me.

She bows.

Alexa- I'm sorry...

My eyes widen.
She stands straight again and looks at me.

Alexa- I know you think I'm trying to take peridot away from you... But that's not it at all

I raise a brow. She chuckles.

Alexa- Im gay as hell, girl, if i would take anyone away, it would have been you

She smirks and I blush.

Alexa- but don't worry, I've known peridot for so long, he's like my big bother, he protected me alot, im sorry if i made you get the wrong idea

She bows again. I put my hand on her shoulder to stop her and she looks up at me.

I smile.

Lapis- thanks for clearing that up... And its okay really, we made up

I glance at peridot and he blushes deeply, looking away.

Lapis- also, between you at me, I'm bi, so we're even

I chuckle and she smiles.

Alexa- I think we'll get along just fine, then?

We laugh and i nod.

Lapis- of course

Suddenly a tall girl I recognize from my science class passes by.

She has boy short brown hair and I'm pretty sure she's the captain of our schools basketball team.

I glance at alexa as the captain passes and see her starring.

I chuckle. Alexa blushes and looks away quickly.

Alexa- w-what

Lapis- you need a wingman~?

Her blush increases and i laugh.

Alexa- s-shut up

Peri- you g-guys are getting alon- er- along pretty well, huh?

I smile.

Lapis- hey how come you know english better than this nerd?

I jerk my thumb to peri, whispering to alexa.

Alexa- i had way more english classes than him

She whispers back and chuckles.

I nod and smirk.

Peri- I- heard that, yknow?

Suddenly the bell rand loudly and I groan.

I pull peri to me and kiss his cheek. He blushes and ends up looking dazed.

Lapis- see you in 3rd, peri

Peri nods and smiles, he waves to Alexa and rushes inside.

I sigh and play with the end of my shirt. She laughs.

Alexa- wow, you really like him~

I blush.

Lapis- e-er- dont act like you weren't just starring at the basketball captain 2 minutes ago!

Then it wad my turn to laugh and hers to blush.

We headed inside and i discovered that we had 1st and second together. I sat with her and 2nd was my science class.

Yknow what that means?

The captain.

Yes, I will do the honer of becoming alexa's wingman.

She'll thank me later.

We sit in the back and i nudge her as i see the captain walk in.

She was talking with a guy about who knows what and laughing as they strolled in.

They proceeded to sit together infront of us and i looked over at alexa.

She was starring again. I smirk as i see her blush when she noticed.

Alexa- I swear, 3 hours ago you hated me

My smirk widens and I lean over our desks to poke the captain's shoulder.

Before alexa could yell at me (quietly), the captain turned around and raised a brow at us as the guy besides her talked to some other doods infront of their desks.

Lapis- hey! I'm lapis, I was just wondering

I pause and dart my eyes over to alexa. The captain glances at her and a small smile appears on her face, she looks back at me and i finish my sentence.

Lapis- you're the basketball captain, right?

She nods and her smile grows under the spell of pride.

Kai- yup! My names kai, kai takashi, heh my dad is Japanese

She rubs the back of her head and chuckles.

Lapis- ooh that's cool, also a giant coincidence cause my friend here-

I nudge alexa who seemed to be panicking inside and kai looks at her.

Lapis- just transferred here and used to live in Japan

Kai- thats so cool, whats your name?

She leans forward, arms crossed on alexas desk.

Alexa- u-uh, Alexa- er Yoshida...

Kai smiles and raises a brow.

Kai- thats a pretty name, why so nervous thou~?

Alexa leans back in her chair and blushes, looking away from kai.

The guy besides kai then nudges her and laughs.

Guy- yo! Stop flirting, you playgirl!

Kai laughs and shoves the guy, they laugh together and the teacher finally comes in the class, yelling for the kids to 'sit the hell down'.

Kai winked at Alexa and turned back around.

I look at alexa and smirk.

She mouths "you're gonna kill me" and glares.

I snicker and point to my cheeks. Her blush increases and she covers her face in her hands.

That was fun.

Oh man, i hated this girl a while ago and now we're friends. Funny how things end up, huh?
