"Sweets" i whispered, hearing noises outside of the house

"Sweets" i semi yelled, Slapping him in the stomach

"Ahh what the f.." Pea attempted to yell as my hand covered his mouth, so he wouldn't make noise

"Someone's outside the house" i whispered "there is someone trying to break in" i added as a window downstairs broke, Pea quickly got up, rushing to his knife on the dresser

"Wrong fucken house" Pea whispered, Pea quickly grabbed shoes before walking towards me

"Put shoes on" Pea warned as he handed me his cell phone, "and lock yourself in the kids bathroom with them, call Fangs, and Jones!" Pea demanded "come on babe, we've prepared for this"

"Yeah i know" i frowned

"Dont" Pea replied "dont frowned" Pea added as he kissed me "now keep my babies safe" Pea added as he rubbed my stomach, before Pea reached to his Gun

"Come on, put your shoes on"Pea added

"Okay" i quickly put shoes on, rushing to the kids room, picking them up, off their beds and running to the bathroom, locking the door

"Mama?" Princess question as she slowly woke up "mama it night time"

"Wake Prince up" i whispered as Princess began to shake him, i double checked i had the door locked, before tighting up my shoes "okay.." i whispered before grabbing the kids shoes from the small basket underneath their sink

"Mama why shoes there?" Princess asked "shoes no go there silly mama"

"Daddy put a pair of running shoes in everyroom with a lock" i smile as i put the shoes on them "daddy's job ..will always have us prepare"

I quickly dialed Fangs

Fangs: yo its 3 in the morning why are you calling me so late?

Daisy: Pea needs your help, Fangs, please come now

Fangs: why are you whispering?

Daisy: call jones, call Archie bring your gun please Hurry

Fangs: gun? What the fuck is happening? Daisy are you okay, is he drinking again?

Daisy: please Fangs, someone is downstairs, i dont know how many, Pea is downstairs with intruders, me and the kids are locked in the bathroom, hurry he's by himself, please Fangs

Fangs: on my way, stay put and do not make a noise

I quickly hung up as the kids looked mortified at the call i just made

"Mama? " Prince asked

"Yes baby?" I asked, when i heard more glass breaking downstairs,

"Crap, crap please dont come up stairs" i mumbled "not mt kids, not my kids" i sighed, rubbing my belly

"Mama why uncle fangs has gun?" Prince asked

"Remember what me and daddy taught you?" i asked the kids "if someone we dont know comes into the house and steals..?"

"We no make sound" Princess replied

"Be very quiet" i replied

"Mama i scared" Princess whispered

"Don't be baby, we're Serpents" i half smiled, even though i was scared shitless but refuse to show my kids

" if something happens to mommy and daddy?" i asked "what are you going to do?"

"Hold hands and run to safety" Prince replied

" if the cops or a helper ask, What are your names? What do you say"
