"Okay, now what?" I ask nick as we ran down an alley way
"Shut up and stay quiet" he crouched down with his back against a wall, tugging me down with him
"But-"
"Shut up!" He gritted as he covered my mouth with his hand and before we knew it a horde of zombies ran past the entrance to the alley way we were in.
I could only hear my own heart pounding in my chest over the groans and roars of the zombies.
Once we were clear nick slowly moved his hand away
"Jesus I thought they were going to get us" I swatted his hand away
"You had to trigger an alarm" he sighed pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Weeeell excuse ME for tripping and accidentally pushing my hand on the alarm to support myself "
"I thought you would have noticed it there yn! Yh there was a whole PLAIN WALL you could've supported yourself on but you chose the part of the wall where exactly the fire alarm is" he face palmed
"I didn't have enough time to react" I shrugged my shoulders innocently
"And now we've lost the others" he sighed
"They're fine" I told him "and we'll be fine, we'll find them"
"Whatever, there's a safe room not far from here, we should go" he told me, I nodded as we made our way out of the alley.
