Tobias POV:

I jump off the train and walk to the Erudite compound.
I see Caleb sitting at a table and I walk over.
"Hello Tobias," he says.
"Hello Caleb," I say.
We look around.
"So what are we doing?" I ask.
"I- I don't know. I didn't think we would get this far. I didn't even think you were coming."
"I'm doing this for Tris."
"And I'm doing this Tris also! And I don't want her with a big tough brutal guy but I'm willing to get over," he yells. He sits down and sighs. "She's my little sister. She's my only family. I'm suppose to protect her but I failed to do it before. And that's all I want to do now. It's even worse because you don't like me."
I sit down beside him.
"Caleb. The only reason I don't like you-- or, didn't like you because I thought you'd be a brother that would take her away from me," I say.
He sighs and then he smiles.
"Did the almighty Tobias just confess to being capable to stand me?"
"Yes. I can stand you. And one day you might be one of my buds."
He laughs.
"Still think you can shoot a gun?" I ask.
"Who do you think shot David?"
"You?"
"Yup."
"Still not better than me."
"Let's go to the Dauntless compound and see."
"You're on."
----
I walk back to my apartment and see Tris sitting on the couch eating Dauntless Cake.
"Hey. How did it go?" She asks.
"Greater than expected. Dauntless Cake."
"Kiss me and I'll give you some."
I kiss her. Then she says,
"Nope. I had my fingers crossed."
I groan and she laughs.
She feeds me a piece of cake and shoves the rest in my face.
She laughs and again I groan
