Tris POV:

Tobias, Raven, and I are at home.
Raven is in her room while Tobias and I are on the couch.
Trying to spend time together as if I didn't almost die.
"Tris. Can I ask you something?" Tobias says.
"You already did but go ahead," I reply laughing.
"Why didn't you tell me we were going to have a baby?"
"We never really had the time to talk and all with you hanging out with Nita," I retort bitterly.
"She helped us."
"And she almost got Uriah killed."
"But we also talked after that."
"Yeah when we were getting my brother suited up for his death."
"And you promised me you wouldn't go. I guess this isn't the first time you've broken a promise."
Those words hit me in a soft spot.
When Jeanine had asked for a person who carried the traits of Divergence. I promised him I wou;dn't go and I left.
I look at him tears brimming in my eyes.
I got up.
"Wait Tris," he started.
And I walked out.
I didn't know where I was going.
I walk into the Pit which was filled with people.
I noticed Christina sitting by herself.
I walk over to her.
"Christina. Hey," I say.
"Hey. I thought you and Tobias were going to have a day all to yourselves?" She asks.
"Things changed. He asked me some questions and brought up some things from the past that I didn't want to talk about. I got pissed and I left," I say.
"Is that why you have tears on your face?" Christina asks touching my hand.
I nod and sit next to her.
I put my head in my hands and cry.
"Why didn't I tell him?" I ask, my voice muffled by my hands.
"Could it had ben because you were terrified to tell him? At that time you had been sixteen. Any girl would have been scared to tell anyone," Christina says rubbing my back in circles.
I hear footsteps running and I assume its just the daily Dauntless but when I hear,
"Christina have you seen Tris,"
I think my conclusion was clarified.
I look up.
"Tris," he says.
"Yea. I'm here. Want to bring anything else up?" I ask irritated and sad.
"I think this is my cue to leave," Christina says, "Bye."
"Bye Chris," I say.
She walks away and all that's left is me and Four.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring that up," he says.
"But you did," I say.
"And I'm sorry. I was just angry. You know you could tell me anything."
"I was sixteen and there was war. Should I have gone up to you and said, 'Hey Four, I'm pregnant?'"
"I admit it was a little harsh on my part. But I am sorry."
"I know."
He sits next to me.
"Who did you leave Raven with?" I ask.
"Peter."
"Speaking of, why is Peter so nice all of a sudden?" I ask.
"He got brainwashed when you set the memory serum off. He forgot everything," Tobias replies.
I nod.
"I think we should head back," I say.
He nods.
We walk back to his house hand in hand.
