Tobias's POV:
"Tris," I say.
"What?" she snaps.
"Look... I'm trying. That's the best I can do. I'm not perfect because I'm still a human. I say things that are stupid and can earn me a good smack. Remember entering Lauren's fear landscape? The smack you gave me."
She laughs.
"I'm not blaming this on the baby because he or she will come out as lovely as Raven did."
She wraps her arms around me and kisses me.
I pull away.
"I'm sorry for getting so mad," she says.
I look into her beautiful eyes. "Nothing on Earth would make me hate you or the kids. Have you got that? Nothing."
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
