Tobias's POV:

"Where are you going?" Tris asks.

"I'm going to the control room."

"Oh."

I saw her spirit down a little.

"I'm going down there find any footage of Marcus here recently," I say.

"You'll tell me if you find any, right?"

"Yes. I promise."

I hug her,

"We'll find her," I say reassuring her.

I kiss her forehead.

"Just do me a favor and be careful," she tells me.

"I will."

She smiles and walk to the bedroom.

I walk out.

I was going to meet up with the gang.

I can't have Tris doing anything dangerous because she's pregnant.

I didn't lie to her... I was going past control room that means I was there.

I continue walking down the hall and I reach the training room.

Everyone else is already there.

"Finally!" Uriah screams.

"Okay getting down to business," I say.

"Marcus is not that bright," Will says, "so he hiding her somewhere in his house. Anything Tobias?"

"Well, there's a warehouse behind the house, she could be hiding there. And a basement," I say.

"So we need to be equipped."

"Zeke, you bring guns, Uraih, you get the knives, Will, you get anything else," I instruct. "We aren't putting the ladies in danger, understood?"

They nod.

"We need to be here tomorrow after 9."

I walk out.

"Control room, huh?"

I turn around to see my pregnant fiancee.

"Yea. They changed the names of the rooms so the training room is the control room and the control room is the training room," I say.

"I'm smarter than that," Tris says.

"Tris. I have to do this alone. You have a baby on the way. If, God forbid, you hurt our baby would you ever be able to forgive yourself?" I ask. She stays silent. "No. And I can't have that. I want you to be happy. That's all I want."

"Okay. Fine."

Right there, I know she hadn't given up.

So I had to make another plan.

When did Beatrice ever give up?

*•*•*•*•

"Tris. I have to go," I say.

"I can't let you do this alone. She's my daughter too!"

I sprung into action.

I took my time yesterday to switch the doorknobs.

I lock her in.

"Tobias! What are you doing?!" She yells.

"I can't let you come."

I also bolted the windows and vents.

"Tobias!"

"I'm sorry Tris."

I walk out and head for the training room.
