We get home and Alex parks the car and comes around to my side to open the door for me then opens the door and Hannah jumps out, we dont bother to get the few bags out yet, they can wait for now, he wraps his arm around my shoulder and pulls me close to him.
"Ready babe?" he asks laughing and kissing my cheek and i nod smiling up at him, and we walk inside, with me still wraped in his arm, and i feel so safe and warm and perfect, im happy with what we did.
We walk into the living room and i see Jack sitting on the couch and he looks over at us and then Hannah runs and jumps on him, gigling, and he kisses her cheeks.
"Hey girl, where have you been?" he asks her
"Oh momma and daddy-"
"Hannah." Alex says and she looks over to him wondering why he cut her off and then nods remembering she wasnt supossed to tell.
"Okay, i go play?" she asks looking back at us and Alex shruggs
"Go ahead." he says
"You come?" she asks looking at Jack and he kisses her cheek and runs his fingers through her hair,
"In a minute okay honey." he says and she nods jumping off him and running down stairs, and he stands and gives us a look and i know he's mad,
"Couldnt you at least told me y'all decided to runn off for a while? when i came over last night and none of y'all were here i was more than a little freaked out!" he says but i can tell he's just scared,
"Look we're sorry we forgot about you coming over, and it wont happen again okay so just calm down, now." Alex says and he takes a breath and runs a hand through his hair and then looks at us seeming calmer now.
"So where did you go that couldnt wait for you to tell someone." he asks and me and Alex just look at each other,
"You got hitched? what?" he says
"Uh, yeah.." i say and his eyes widen
"I was kidding, did you really?" he asks looking at my hand and then grabing it and looking at it,
"Oh my gosh, you really did didnt you?" he says shaking his head at my hand then looking at us,
"Yeah we kinda ran off and got married." i say laughing and Alex smiles at me and takes my other hand,
"And how long have you been planning this?" he asks
"Um since three hours before we went." i say laughing and he rolls his eyes at us and goes to sit back down and Alex sits on the love seat and pulls me down into his lap and kisses my neck.
"Y'all are crazy." he says shaking his head
"Yeah, but its fun." i say kissing Alex and Jack groans and gets up,
"Fine i'll leave you two alone and i'll go see what Hannah's doing." he says going up stairs and i hear him open and close her door,
"She's getting really close to him.." i say sighing and looking back at Alex
"She gets close to everyone, you just dont like that its him she's getting close to now." he says sighing i know he doesnt really like it either but he hasnt said anything about it.
"It just scares me, its not like ive had the best past with him." i say sighing
"I know baby, but some people really do change, you just have to give them the chance." he says
"I know, but maybe i dont want it to change, what if she gets to close to him and he ends up hurting her or something? or leaving, uhg.." i say groaning and covering my eyes with my hands, and he puts his over mine and pulls my hands away.
