Untold Secrets

Open Bar Policy..

"Lead the way!" I giggled.

A couple hours later, Spencer and I were drunk, having taken advantage of that open bar.

"G-Guess what H-Harperrrrrrrr..." Spencer stuttered.

"W-Whattttttttt?" I whined, rocking back and forth on the barstool.

"I-I lovvvvveeeeeeee youuuu!" He sung, kissing my hand.

"I love you t-tooooooo!" I giggled.

We ordered two more beers and watched the shit show called their party.

Crowds of people were either dancing, eating, or smart and drinking like us.

"Excuse me everyone, if I could have your attention for one moment.." Seth raised his hand up, sliding his way in front of everyone.

"Great, I love speeches." Spencer rolled his eyes.

"Tune him out, it's easy, I've done it before!" I suggested, swigging my beer.

We ordered an appetizer of buffalo wings and chatted as we ate, ignoring whatever the hell Seth was saying.

Until we noticed everyone had their eyes on us.

"Uh Spence, what's going on?" I whispered, and he shrugged, licking his fingers. "No clue."

"So Harper, will you dance with me? And Spencer dance with Sarah?" Seth asked.

A spotlight flashed on our faces, as I was so confused.

"Uh..sure.." I agreed, and he cheered. "I was getting a little worried there!"

We both chugged the last of our beer and made our way to the dance floor. I was not a dancer, hated being the center of attention, so this was torture. Although, it helped tremendously that I was drunk.

Sarah and Spencer began dancing, and I awkwardly placed my hands around Seth's neck.

His hands gently found their way around my waist and we began moving to the flow of the slow song playing.

"So, I take it you've enjoyed our open bar policy?" He teased.

"Y-Yeah.." I hiccuped.

"So, since I know your a forgetful drunk and won't remember hardly anything from tonight, I have to tell you something that's been on my mind.." Seth whispered so only we could hear.

"I haven't forgotten about you, Harper. And the reason I cannot be friends with you right now, is because I'm afraid I won't be able to control my temptations...There's something about you, that pulls me in, and I hate to say it like this, but it's almost as if I'm addicted to you." His words made me raise my eyebrows.

"Seth, why are you telling me this? When I'll probably forget?" I sighed.

He spun me around, before gliding me back in. "I needed to get it off my chest before I marry Sarah. I feel bad letting everybody down if I don't go through with this. I'm sorry Harper, I never meant to hurt you." He frowned.

His hand caressed my cheek, "Thank you for dancing with me. Your one of a kind, Harper." He kissed my forehead as the song ended.

I watched as he rejoined Sarah, and Spencer tugged me back towards the bar, snapping me from my thoughts.

"Sarah kept stepping on my fucking feet during that stupid dance! It was torture!" He complained. "How was my brothers moves? Were they better?"

"Y-Yeah, they were." I nodded, thinking back to his words. God, I didn't even know what to think.

"You ready to hit the road? Being around these rich folks for too long is deadly to me." Spencer mumbled.

"Yeah..lets go." I agreed, standing up. We headed for the door as Seth and I made eye contact one last time.

Outside, there were limos waiting to bring guests back to the hotel, and we hopped in one and headed back.

"All this wedding talk sort of makes me think about ours one day..which is crazy because we've been dating for two months, but I feel like we have this deep connection Harper.." Spencer revealed, taking my hand in his.

"Really? Wow, I feel the same way, Seth." I smiled, resting my head on his shoulder.

"Wow, I must be really drunk, I swear it sounded like you said my brothers name.." He chuckled.

That was the last thing I remembered, as I fell asleep leaning against him..
