It was a soft knock that woke Eve from his slumber, the feel of pain barely there as he saw the morphine dripping into the IV.

"Come in," he croaked, watching his mother coming in along with a rather familiar looking man. He was tall, with a head full of dark hair and silver streaks at the temples. Blue eyes watched the young Eve, sending shivers down his spine. It's almost as if the man could see the invisible hands that had groped him .

"Eve," his mother said, motioning at the man behind her, "This is Attorney Abraham Price," she paused, her eyes full of hope, "He is going to represent you in court!"

Abraham smiled and walked over to him, extending out his hand in greeting, "It is nice to meet you. I have come to offer my services to you, free of charge."

Eve could feel his blood freeze in his veins, his heart dropping into his twisted stomach. Court? And face them all over again? See his face watching him just like they did in the bathroom? A tiny spark of hope bloomed in his chest of finally finding justice. The fact that the best attorney in the city was willing to represent of his free of charge almost made the whole thing too sweet to be true.

"What do you gain out of this?" Eve murmured quietly.

The man smiled, "Think of it as favor you may one day owe me in the future."

Eve felt himself tense for a moment, what exactly a lawyer of such high standing want from him? He had nothing to offer.

What more could he lose?

Eve swallowed before nodding.

Abraham grinned, "Excellent. Let's start from the beginning."

Nick watched the minor enter the interrogation room with a lawyer by his side. Both who made rather impressive impressions in Nick's mind.

One was a man, broad shoulders that filled his black suit quite nicely,  the sleeves barely containing the muscles beneath. Dark hair peppered with white strands of hair doing nothing to conceal the youthful yet commanding presence of the rather famous attorney.

Abraham Price, Nick thought. One of the best lawyers in the state, along with being one of the most expensive ones. What kind of middle class citizen would be able to afford his services? Especially for a case such as this?

Apparently one who was small in stature, pale as the moon and hair as dark as the night but it was his azure eyes that should be shining bright with curiosity but instead they were dark, almost as if the experience of life weighed heavily on him.

Or perhaps it was the bruises that covered his face.

Nick took a breath as he entered the interrogation room, "Eve Ken?"

The young man nodded, hugging himself, almost as if he were afraid of his presence.

Nick gave a sigh and glanced at the two way mirror, almost cussing out his partner for putting him alone with one of the most terrified victims he'd encountered.

"My name is Nick Ramos, I'm a detective with the Special Victims Unit," he said, setting a folder on the table, "I suppose you know why I'm here."

Eve Ken nodded, wringing the hem of shirt.

Nick opened the file, glancing at the reports that ranged from medical to the first statement issued by a young man who had found the poor boy on the bathroom floor.

"Why don't we start where it first began?"
*********
Adam had already began to pack his clothes the moment he had received a text from his father saying he was in the interrogation room with Eve.

Abel was at the door of his room, his hands tucked inside his pockets, his slender frame trying to block the door.

Adam sighed and ran a hand through his dark hair, "You can't stop me Abe. It's my decision and if it helps Eve then let it be so."

What about your dreams? Abel signed, What you always wanted to do?

Adam stayed still for a moment, before clasping the suitcase shut, "Sometimes," he said, "Dreams are just meant to be think about and never to fulfill." He walked past his brother who was signing furiously behind him but Adam wouldn't look at them for fear of changing his mind.

Abel's hand grabbed his shoulder, nearly pulling him back.

If Adam would've had the energy he would've probably punched his own brother if it weren't for the hug Abel was putting him in. Almost as if to say goodbye.

Adam could feel hot tears brimming at his lashes before falling down his cheeks as he embraced his brother in a tight hug, "I'll visit, and once you finish that band of yours, I'll be at the front row seat," he said, his voice tight with emotions.

Abel pulled back, his eyes red from the angry and frustrated tears as he signed, You better text me every day and I want you to bring Eve here again.

Adam smiled sadly, nodding an empty promise to his eldest brother before departing from his freedom.

A/N: Holy crap. It's been forever. Life has just been a rollercoaster these days.
