Reaching out to grab the last copy of Apocalypse, you felt someone else's hand brush against your own. You couldn't help but notice how soft and warm their hand was. You looked up to see who the stranger was. You expected to see the face of a young man, but instead your eyes gazed upon a pokerface mask. You nearly jumped back screaming "HOLY SHIT!!!! YOU SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME!!!"
        "Sorry Friend," The man apologized.
"It's all right. " You looked back at the game, both your hands clenching either side. The man looked at you, followed your line of sight to your hands, and quickly removed his. "You can have it." He states, flashing you a heart warming smile. "You got to it first anyway."
"No, no! It's fine you take it. You've probably been waiting for it a lot longer than I have." You lied. You were dying for that game. Ever since that new invention you had gotten rid of all your other consoles. It just wasn't the same; you couldn't go from being in a game to using a controller. Because of this, you hadn't played a zombie game in almost a year. You were itching to bash some zombies in the head.
"No its okay! You take it, I can wait."
You were about to tell him to take it once more, but he gave you this serious look. 'He really wants me to take it.' Knowing you wouldn't win, you let out an "Alright." There was a moment of silence between you too before you said "Thank you so much."
"Your welcome Friend! You can call me Cry." -That's when it hit you- 'Cry? LIKE CRYAOTIC!?' You began to feel really stupid for not realizing it earlier; that mask, that voice.... HOW COULD YOU NOT RECOGNIZE IT TILL NOW!! 'Now would be a great time for a facepalm' Cry was one of your favorite youtubers!!!! (I mean you are reading this so...) You watched him pretty much-
"Uh, Friend? Are you alright?" Cry said, his voice full of worry. You had been staring at him.
"Uh sor-sorry." You stuttered, your face going red.
Cry chuckled. "So are you gonna tell me your name, or am I just supposed to call you Friend?"
"My name's (Y/N)." You said, still embarrassed. You noticed Cry take out his phone and sigh. "I gotta go." He frowned. "Bye (Y/N)!" You waved him goodbye and realized that you better get going as well. Your mind refocused on your videogame as you rushed to the counter to pay for it. "That's $49.00" The man behind the counter sounded slightly annoyed with you. 'He's just jealous that he doesn't get to go home and play this game.' You chuckled at your thoughts and handed him the cash. You walked back out to your car and dropped the bag into the passenger seat. Placing your hands on your steering wheel, you began to drive away from the store. You finally get home after what felt like the longest car ride of you life. All you thought about the entire time was what you would do once you started playing. Realizing that you were just sitting there, you got out of you car, this time unbuckling yourself first. Something wet hit your head. 'Really. Now it decides to rain?' You groaned, pulling out your keys and unlocking your front door. You took out the game and threw your purse onto your couch.
'Finally Home.'
