It was going on 11:30pm & I was done my homework & listening to my grandfather ranting about the church drama it was actually funny tho & even though he got on my nerves he was always there for me as a father figure .

My mom went out which was weird ... I knew she had friends back home but the way she was dressed was more as she was going on a date . The whole thing with her wanting to move for Cali still hurts but I'll be fine .

I shook my head I'm pretty sure my grandfather likes hanging out with Izzy even tho he calls him " Lightskin "

" I don't know that's a good question " I said knowing he still had my car

I called Izzy and he didn't pick up I was starting to get annoyed because he had my car .

Izzy: I'm coming I'm like 15 mins away ... you coming over tonight I got a surprise for you😘

Me: I gotta stay over here

My grandfather went upstairs I don't even know why he was up anyway like he doesn't have work in the morning.

I look outside & I didn't see no Izzy after 15 minutes . My phone started buzzing & it was him .

" Where you at? " I said
" I'm outside come on " He said

I went outside & closed the door & walk up to my car .

" What are you doing? " I said

" Damn why you not coming home with me " He said trying to grab my waist

" Because my peoples going start getting suspicious I told them I be over Samaya's house they think I'm laying down on my back making fishes " I said rolling my eyes for them to think I'm that dumb

" We can lay fishes anytime you want " he said

" Come on were you been at with my car all day "  I asked grabbing the keys

" I got you something damn you can't ask for your surprise " he said

I rolled my eyes & waited for whatever he was about to give me .

He got in the backseat & it was a puppy .

" Oh shit who dog is this ? " I asked

" Yours I already name him Chic " he said

The dog was so small & cute it was a pit of course I laughed to myself as Izzy passed him to me

" My grandfather going kill me about this dog " I said

" Na he not " he said giving me a kiss on the cheek

Chic was instantly liking my face which was cute he was the cutest little pup .

" Thank you Isaiah " I said giving him a peck kiss

" Can you come home " he said

" I am home " I said giving him a look

" Man you know what I mean " he said begging me again

" Izzy I can't I got school in the am you can stay here if you want we probably just gotta chill in the basement cause I don't got time for my grandmothers mouth " I said
