The two weeks went by quicker than anyone expected. Tatum and Dempsey had gotten married earlier in the afternoon. Scott and Dempsey had put the last of Tatum's things in the back of his truck.

Tatum stood there with tears in her eyes. Sophie gave her a hug and said, "It's okay. You are only a half an hour away. Christmas is in three days. Who knows, I may come crash at your apartment just because I can. We are going to be seeing each other. And just know that when my niece or nephew "

"I love you, sissy."

"I love you, too."

Dean and Lily each gave her a hug. Dean told her, "We are only ever a phone call away. If either of you need anything. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Don't be a stranger either."

Scott told her, "I'm coming over for game nights with D. Make sure you have those awesome cookies ready for me."

Tatum rolled her eyes, "They are break and bake cookies from the grocery store."

"You still make them the best. I don't know how you do it."

"Thanks, S."

Lily told her, "I love you, sweet girl. I'm so proud of you. Call me if you need me. Momma is always here for you no matter what.

Tatum sniffled, "Thanks, Momma."

Dempsey said, "I need to get some food in you. Then we can head to the apartment. I want to make sure that you are comfortable and we have everything you are going to need."

Tatum gave out one last round of hugs and the left to get something to eat before heading to their apartment. Tatum was nervous, but she felt better knowing that Dempsey was ready and willing to go through everything with her. She knew he wasn't big on the whole marriage thing, but they were going to be there for each other throughout the hard things that were going to be happening in the coming months.

After stopping to eat, they went back to the apartment. Dempsey let her in and said, "Here we are. Let me give you a tour." They walked through the apartment. Dempsey went on, "This is the biggest room. This is your room. My room is next door in case you need anything. That would put the nursery across the hall. I have a few things for the baby that I got the other day. I couldn't help myself. I had to start my spoiling a little bit early."

Tatum was about to respond, but stopped abruptly. She ran straight for the bathroom. She lost all contents of her stomach. Dempsey fell to his knees behind her. He held her hair back as she got sick. She hated that he was seeing her like this, but the episodes that she had came on so quickly she didn't have a chance to prepare him for what was coming.

Tatum slouched against him when she was finished. Dempsey asked, "Are you okay?"

"Yes. It's the morning sickness. They lied when they named it. Supposedly I have two more weeks of this. Sorry I didn't warn you. It comes on so quickly sometimes that I don't have time to prepare myself."

"Let me help you up. Can I get you anything?"

"Sprite and crackers would be great."

"At your service. I'll get them and I'll be right back." Dempsey helped her to her feet and went to get her crackers and drink.

Tatum went over to her room and started going through her bags. She had something that she wanted to find.

Dempsey came in with the Sprite and crackers. He noticed Tatum on her knees going through her things. He asked, "Can I help you? What are you looking for?"

Tatum smiled when she found what she was looking for and said, "I found this and thought of you. Tatum handed Dempsey a onesie. He opened it to see: Daddy loves me more than football (and that's a lot!).

Dempsey chuckled. "That's perfect and so true. I can't wait to meet this baby. I have something for you, too. Well, technically for the baby, but still."

Tatum opened the onesie. It said: Mommy is my person. Tatum smiled and said, "It's perfect. I love Grey's. Our baby is going to be the best dressed baby on the block."

"Remember when you had the flu two years ago? I came over to see Scott and we ended up binge watching Grey's with you."

"Of course I remember. You remember that? I wouldn't have thought that you would remember that. It was such a small thing."

"Of course. It was a good week. The three of us had a chance to hang out and just be ourselves."

"For you maybe. I was miserable. I had never been so sick before. Not until the morning sickness started."

"Sorry. I guess it wouldn't have been that great for you, huh? I'm sorry you are so sick. I want to help you in anyway that I can."

Tatum laughed. "It's okay. Do you want to find something on Netflix? I can unpack stuff tomorrow."

"Are you tired? I know it's been early nights for you the past few weeks. I hate that you have to go through all of this."

"It's okay. The baby is going to be more than worth it. I just can't wait to meet him or her."

"I know. I can't wait to hold him or her."

"Can we watch a movie? I think I can make it through a movie before passing out. I don't want to get drawn into a show and fall asleep in the middle of it. I would hate to get sucked into something and then miss big parts of it because I fell asleep like an old person."

Dempsey chuckled. "Sure. Pick what you would like to watch. I'm up for anything." The two of them went on to find a movie to watch. Dempsey and Tatum sat on the couch together and watched the movie that Tatum chose. Tatum was more comfortable than she thought she would be on their first night together alone in the apartment.
