Chapter 9

Flashback
I walk into this beautiful hotel in which I was invited to. My best friend Kayla had something planned. She always does. I spot her in a corner with her husband and a tall handsome man. I smile and make my way to them.
"Hey Kayla!"
"Dia, I'm so glad you made it."
I give her a hug and she turns to the handsome man who was looking at me.
"Carter this is my best friend, Dia"
He holds out his hand and smiles
"Nice to meet such a pretty girl."
I blush a little and take his hand, "Nice meeting you too."
A little after I was talking with Carter, he and o were separated from Kayla. The conversation we held was nice, and often I would see his eyes lingering around my body and him his ting his lip. I thought it was kinda funny, and other times I wanted him, but we just met.
Carter had gotten a phone call and he had to leave and after he left I decided to leave too.
