There was a shocked silence for more than a few moments and whether it was because of the fact that Nico could sing or the song choice was unknown.
Persi's silence was definitely the demigod's talent and not the song choice because the song fits for the two of them. Heck Persi listened to the song during the school year almost daily.
The silence stood until Hades climbed up the stage and began talking, "Amazing singing Nico but I'd like to hurry up and get this over with so everyone starts clapping so we can move on." And with that, the clapping started but it only lasted a few seconds until the god upstage told everyone to stop and once again began talking, "We will be singing Demons by Imagine Dragons."
Persi looked Nico straight in the eyes and Mind Messaged him, Really Neeks? Nico jumped at the voice of his friend in his head but otherwise nodded. And with that, the song started.
