Hogwarts Houses As Law Students

Gryffindor: all about the glory, either wants to make a difference in the field of public international law or hold a respected position in a law firm, thinks all cases can be won with arguments stemming from the constitution or human rights, makes everyone roll their eyes during lectures by asking hypothetical questions

Ravenclaw: the ambiguity of law is the best and worst part, can probably recite hundreds of cases off the top of their head, reads books concentrating on the tiniest, most obscure legal questions, loves moot court, isn't in a rush to graduate, can't decide what they want to do in the future, will they be an attorney? a judge? work for government in drafting laws? who knows, certainly not ravenclaw

Hufflepuff: would make an excellent judge, quick to find the important legal questions in a case, perfect notes from each lecture and is willing to share them with those who where absent, knows how to take care of themselves even if school causes them stress every once in a while, originally applied to law school to be able to help people in the future

Slytherin: has always known that law is their passion, treats every conversation like there is an argument to be won, finds creative solutions to legal problems, the slytherin-ravenclaw moot court team is to be FEARED, gladly answers questions in class and doesn't hesitate to ask questions themselves, is in their element in a court room, can argue any case, able to keep their personal and work life separate
