Knocked Up (B+A) (VIII)

Start from the beginning

It was still early in the morning and not many of his coworkers were in the office yet, but even so there was still a handful of them. As soon as he stepped inside of the room their chatter ceased, and their eyes were locked on his figure as he made his way back into his tiny office.

Just as Xie Ying closed his door, they started gossiping outside.

"Ah! Did you see him?"

"Yes, yes, yes! Kyahh! I wonder who it is?"

"Didn't you see him enter Ying's office?"

"Eh? Could it be that... that's Ying?"

"OMG! What if it is?"

"Do you think that he got plastic surgery?"

"Ah, it doesn't look like it though."

"I'm starting to hate myself, why was I so mean to him before? *sigh* If only I knew what was hiding underneath."

"Haha, that's what you get."

"Pssh, what are you talking about? You also did it too!"

Xie Ying could hear them bickering outside. Inside of his office was a mess, Tan Kang had come in searching for things inside previously. He rubbed the bridge of his nose, he had to clean up this mess. He set down his bag on his chair and took off his topcoat and his suit jacket and left it on the top rail of the chair.

(A/N: Omg... when you have to google 'parts of chair', because you don't know what it's called and you don't want to use 'on the top part of the chair'. ʱªʱªʱª (ᕑᗢूᓫ∗) )

He rolled up his sleeves and started to gather the scattered paper work. As he organized the documents, Bao Bao was updating him on Tan Kang. He wasn't on schedule, Tan Kang had missed the train and was at least thirty minutes behind schedule.

By the time Xie Ying finished, he still had at least fifteen minutes left over before Tan Kang would arrive. His puny office was now in pristine condition. You could see the floors now and it looked much more spacious and a little bigger than it actually was.

Xie Ying sat down at his desk and decided to check on Bao Bao, while he waited.

<System, did you do what I had instructed?>

<Yes~ Host.>

<En. How is he?>

<Errm.... Host, he's seriously pissed off.> Bao Bao doesn't know why host wouldn't want him to find out...

<Host?>

<Yes?>

<How come host doesn't want him to find you?>

<It's too early.>

<....>

<If he found me, I'm sure that he would certainly interfere. Since I have more freedom in this world, I would rather extract revenge for myself.>

His lover had always been someone who held power in each world, knowing that he wanted to finish his main tasks first. It wouldn't be until another month before he could go find his lover.

In a certain large office somewhere, a line of workers stood before a tyrant. Hearing Dong Boqin's report this morning had already upset his mood and now hearing from a team of hackers that they couldn't even fish out a piece of information, he was livid.

If looks could kill, they would all be dead over a hundred millions of times already. They just wanted to dig their own grave and bury themselves in it, just so that they wouldn't get butchered by this man.

His silver eyes narrowed down, and for the first time he released his alpha pheromones, "You mean to say that you couldn't even get his name?"

They all fell down onto their knees and hands from the immense pressure being released from him. They all nodded their head furiously, "Th-That's correct, sir!"

"Someone co-concealed every informati-tion on him. There wasn't e-even a shred of data o-on him."

They didn't know as to why they couldn't even find this person, it was only one person but as they searched it was as if they had never existed. It greatly piqued their interest, being the top hackers in their country. They hadn't had this kind of situation before.

The man smoothed his hair back in irritation. He knew that his workers weren't at fault. He somehow knew if that person didn't want to be found, he wouldn't be no matter how hard he tried. He gritted his teeth, "Go on, get out."

Retracting his alpha pheromones, the weight pressing down on them vanished. They all hurriedly saluted to him before scurrying away. The man stood at the windows at the back of his office. His tall and elegant figure was illuminated by the sunshine.

His fists were clenched tightly as he surveyed outside, "Just wait until I get my hands on you."

Ever since he's laid his eyes on him, he felt a connection with that man. His soul was shouting at him to be near that man, to hold onto him and never let go. Even his alpha instincts to 'mark' was ignited.
