"That's good. Being nosy really is annoying. Hence my mom being super nosy when I was living with them." I yawn, watching Johnny through half-lidded eyes.

"I feel that. That's why we aren't so nosy about your whole life thing. Ten just likes to be a pervert." He wiggles his eyebrows and I groan. "A big fat pervert is right." I nod, leaving us in a comfortable silence.

"Well I have dinner ready, I'll get them out and you wake up Jaemin." He stands up, throwing me a thumbs up before disappearing into the hallway without giving me time to answer.

"Jaemin baby wake up." I poke at him, deciding whether or not to just push him off my lap and potentially hurt him.

Nah, I won't do that. I'm too nice.

(Yer sure there buddy?)

"Jaemin." I pick him up under his arms, setting him back a bit and out of my neck. His head lolls a bit before I watch him wake up, both eyes opening up slowly before he yawns and rubs them with closed fists.

"Good morning sweetheart." I smirk, my hands moving down to his waist again. "Bitch it's like 5:30 at least I couldn't have been asleep for 13 hours." He mumbles, his hands dropping down like rocks to his sides.

"You're right. It's been 30 minutes and it's only 5:40." I say, checking my phone. "I'm guessing there's food because you woke me up." He slides back and I have to make sure he's stable enough before he stands up on his feet, turning around and walking like a zombie toward the kitchen.

"Yeah-- Jaemin wait up!"

Well if this isn't the most awkward dinner I've ever been a part of.

Johnny and Jaehyun are talking on their side as Doyoung just examines my boyfriend like he's a newly found species. I can see Jaemin is starting to get uncomfortable due to the constant staring as he sets his spoon down in the chili, sitting back and smiling at Doyoung in a bone-chilling way.

"Well, Doyoung, tell me about yourself."

I try not to laugh and I can see Ten is too as Doyoung looks taken aback. "I-I write, I'm a novelist. I have several published stories." He stutters, surprised by Jaemins sudden change in interest.

"Oh? What kind of stories do you write?" Jaemin props his head up on his hands, lifting a single eyebrow. "Stories about acceptance and things people can relate to the characters about." Doyoung seems to warm up to Jaemin's sudden attitude change quickly and answers without skipping a beat.

"Ah, that's interesting. Maybe I can have Jeno translate a book for me, since I would guess they're in Korean." Jaemin picks up his spoon, poking at the chili before turning to me and smiling.

"You wouldn't mind, would you baby?"

I gulp. Of course, I would love to but that would mean reading Doyoungs writing, which isn't really the greatest thing. Last time I read one of his things, which was 5 years ago, it was pretty poor.

"Sure." I half fake a smile and sip my water, my eyes flitting from Jaemin to Doyoung quickly. "Well, Jaemin, what do you want to do in life?" Doyoung asks, leaning back in his chair.

"Dance instructor." He answers simply and Doyoung nods. "Ah, I see. Jeno used to really like dance a lot when he was younger. Didn't you?" Once again the spotlight it put on me and I nod.

"We're going to a performance school together, actually." I reply, watching Jaemin as I do so. He smiles and nods, turning to Doyoung. "Is that so?" Doyoung asks Ten for confirmation and he nods as well.

"Yeah, I have to figure Jeno out and Jaemins mom has already got him ready." Ten examines his nails, his head resting on his palm.

"Ah. By the way why is he here? Does he live here?" Doyoung asks and Jaemin visibly freezes up. "Yeah, I do. I already explained to Taeyong today why I do and I'd rather not do it again." He quickly responds and Doyoung just hums in understanding.

"I see. It must be bad, huh? I'm sorry." He sympathizes and Jaemin just smiles and shakes his head in a 'you don't need to say that' manner.

"It's fine. It's been like 8 months." Jaemin shrugs. "Hey hey hey what're we talking about?" Johnny interrupts, both him and Jaehyun turned to us.

"Nothing. Just why Jaemin lives here." Johnny visibly shrinks into himself and Jaehyun lifts an eyebrow at the odd behavior.

"What happened?" Jaehyuns voice changes into something I've never really heard before. It's soothing and soft, almost melodic in a way.

"Oh well I don't know if I'm in my right mind to say this, but I just remembered that day, Jaemin." Johnny almost whispers and Jaemin coughs. "That's right. You drove to my house, I saw you before I passed out."

"What happened?" Jaehyun sounds worried, very worried. "Oh, he just texted Jeno to call the police after leaving our place and when I got to his house he was covered in blood."

"What?!"

Doyoung shrieks, his already big eyes widening at Jaemin, who shifts in his seat uncomfortably. "Yeah... Johnny can I explain later?" He asks quietly and Johnny nods. "Alright." Johnny answers softly.

"I want to hear the rest of this for sure." Jaehyun frowns, not at Jaemin but his eyes look pitying.

"I'm not afraid to explain, I just explained this earlier." Jaemin murmurs, picking at the steaming bowl in front of him.

"I understand." Jaehyuns voice is soft still. "Hey, Jaehyun, I never asked what you work as now." I pipe up, trying to make the atmosphere as calm as possible right now.

"Oh? Well I guess you can say I'm a psychiatrist." So that's why he sounds like that.

"That's cool. Do you enjoy it?" I ask and he shrugs. "I like to help people, but people's problems can be crazy sometimes." He answers.

"That's why they would need a psychiatrist. Why else would they go?" Johnny butts in, flamboyantly placing his head in his hands.

"Emotional support, you thick-headed palm tree." Jaehyun lightly punches Johnnys shoulder, getting a whining male in return.

"Owwie! That hurt Jaehyunnie!"

"Oh dear god--"

"Uhh yes I'd like to buy a ticket back to Korea..."

I'm tired and I just ate mock crab meat in a salad and I kind of regret it.

Also I know these are really bad chapters but I didn't have ideas when I wrote this but there will be better chapters (maybe).

Sorry😌
