3-Excited but Nervous

I walked out of the orphanage onto the sidewalk. It started to pour on me.

"Ah! Stupid rain!" I shouted.

"Here!" Bonnie said holding an umbrella over me.

"Thanks, Bonnie!" I said.

"Call me mom!" Bonnie laughed.

SLASHS POV

I lead my new sister Lili to the car.  I opened the door for her and we sat down inside.

"Okay, so, Lili... our house is still not completely furnished. We just moved from England." Mom said.

"That's ok! Where do you guys live now?" Lili asked.

"Laffeyete, Indiana!" Mom said.

"Wow, this ought to be a long car ride!" Lili said.

"I'm gonna have to protect her from boys. She's really pretty. With her dark brown hair and blue eyes." I thought to myself.

2 HOURS LATER——-LILIS POV

We arrived at their house. It was dark grey. Slash helped me carry my stuff in. I was immediately attacked by a husky.

"Hello there!" I said.

"What's his name?" I asked

"Rocket!" My new dad said.

"Saul, why don't you go help Lili unpack?" My mom asked.

"Sure!" He said.

We began to walk up the stairs.

"Hey earlier in the car when I called you Slash....why did your mom seem so...pissed?" I asked.

"Oh, she just doesn't like my whole rockstar thing..." Slash said.

"Oh." I said.

We got to the top of the stairs.

"Ok, which room is mine?" I asked.

"Down at the end of the hall." Slash said leading me their.

I stepped into a magenta room with 3 windows in it, a bed, dresser, and a night stand.

"I'll start putting my clothes away. Can you hang up all my posters??" I asked.

"Yes, of course." He said

We proceeded to put things away until Slash's mom walked in the room.

"We are going to run some errands. We will be back in a few hours." She said.

Me and Slash nodded at her and she left.

"So, umm... how did you find out about me anyway??" I asked.

"Well, we just wanted another family member...I guess." Slash said while hanging up my Iggy Pop poster.

"Oh." I said deciding if I should believe him or not.

"My mom likes to rescue things too." He chuckled.

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it! It's probably Bruce." Slash said.

"Oh, who's Bruce?" I asked

"Axl...remember I told you about him? Axl is his nickname." Slash said.

"Oh." I said as I followed Slash to the door.

He opened the door. I hid behind it like a shy little kid. A ginger haired and blue eyed boy stood their.

"Hey dude, how was Chicago?" Axl asked.

"It was good!" Slash said Axl stepped into the house.

He looked at me and I kinda blushed.

"Yo dude, is this your chick? She's hot!" Axl asked Slash. I blushed.

Slash got all protective and Axl stepped back and held his hands up in surrender.

"No!! We just adopted her from Chicago idiot!" Slash yelled to Axl.

"Hi!" I said.
"It's nice to meet you Axl!"

"You too!" He said.

"So Slash says you sing? I do too!" I smiled.

"Yes I do and that's cool girl." He said.

"How old are you?" Axl asked.

"I'm thirteen...almost fourteen." I said.

"Oh, I'm sixteen." Axl said looking a little upset.

Slash glared at him and I giggled.

A few hours later I was getting ready for bed. I put on a random black T-shirt and some shorts. I turned the AC on because I was sweating.

"God, thank you for finally putting me with a good family." I said praying.

Soon I got into bed and laid there until I fell asleep.
