CHAPTER 40

Vaidhehi was busy drying her hair looking into the mirror. Aditya on the other side struggled with her saree pleates. She giggled seeing him struggling. He kneeled down and held her pallu with the other hand

"Ah..Vaidhu..stop moving. It's almost over"

"Aditya...i told you right. You won't be able to do it. Wearing a saree is not an easy job"she said chuckling. He tickled her waist and she laughed

"Sh...I'm doing it" he adjusted her pleates and neatly tucked them in her skirt. He then went behind her by adjusting her pallu in her shoulders. He pinned it and finally it was done

"Finally... Perfect"he smiled brightly and she giggled seeing him like that.

" Aditya.. We are getting late.. " She turned to the other side

"I know madam."he kissed her forehead " are you tensed?" He asked

She shook her head

"I know..me and baby..we both are completely alright. "She touched her belly and looked at him

"Are you tensed Aditya?"

"Of course I'm. How can I just behave normally. It's a detailed check up vaidhu. I want to know whether my princess and her mumma...both are safe or not"

He saw tears forming in her eyes.. He kneeled down and gently kissed her belly. She closed her eyes

" Vaidhu.. Can you feel our Baby..? "He asked. She shook her head.

"but I can.. "he pulled her closer and hugged her.

In the hospital , They had all her tests done. Vaidhu and Adi waited outside. He kept biting his nails and she assured him that everything will go well. After few minutes they were called inside

"please be seated. "The doctor said smiling

"doctor is everything fine.. ?"he asked before getting seated. He was so tensed

" Relax Aditya.. The baby and baby's mumma.. Both are perfectly alright.. "the doctor smiled

They felt relieved and looked at each other with a smile. He held her hands tightly.. She smiled at him.

"look Vaidhehi.. You need to be extra careful. Because the baby started to grow inside you.. and take care of yourself because Aditya had mentioned that you've met an accident. Twice. So..proper diet. Good exercise. Sleep. Everything is important"

"yes doctor.. "Vaidhehi smiled and nodded

The doctor gave the reports to them and they had a talk..

Priya walked along the streets.. Its been few weeks she's trying to divert herself into something in which she finds happiness. She is happy with her life . But still past being the past.. Affects her sometimes. She was trying to grab a perfect gift for Vaidhu . She searched in 2 shops but she couldn't find something nice.

She took a shortcut to reach the other end of the street and suddenly two strong arms grabbed her to a corner. Her mouth was covered with the person's palms. She started shivering. Her Eyes went wide. She took few deep breaths.
