CHAPTER 02

Adi started off to Vikram's house.

Vikram and Adi are best friends. They met each other during their job interviews and became close. Adi bagged a job for Vikram when he started his own company. They respect each other in every way.

Adi parked his bike outside and texted Vikram.

'Dude. I'm out there'

Few minutes later Vikram came out giving the sweetest smile to Adi.

"I was waiting for you.. As usual late Adi. You'll never change "Vikram said hugging him. They laughed.

"Happy birthday Adi "

"Thanks Vikram ra. Where's my gift?" Adi asked excitedly.

" I don't think. Friends do exchange gifts. Especially when they are grown up like us" Vikram said making Adi glare. He laughed.

Vikram whistled loudly. Adis eyes passed behind Vikram. He saw two cute puppies. His face brightened as he took them in his hands.

"oww..man they are so cute. " Adi said cuddling the puppies.

" I know right " he said smiling

"Attending the party?" Vikram asked raising his eyebrows. Adi nodded and sighed. They laughed

Adi and Vikram parked their car near a mall. They went inside to buy few things.

Later they settled up their bills. Vikram met one of his old friend and stopped for a while. Adi came down to the car. He saw the two puppies playing inside. He smiled.
Later he got a call and went outside to attend the call. He forgot to close the door of the car. The puppies came out and started running In the road.

Adi had a conversation over the phone and turned around only to see his puppies running over the road.

"Oh god.. " he got scared.

He started to run behind them but Suddenly a huge trucker came from the opposite side. Adi stopped moving back. He closed his eyes tightly and heard a scream. He slowly opened his eyes and saw HER!

She carefully took both the puppies in her hands and smiled. His eyes went to her. She kept caressing the puppies. She turned back making sure that the puppies didn't got hurt and kept cuddling them. Adi moved forward. And ran towards her.

"Excuse me.. " he said breathing heavily.

She turned to his side and looked at the young man standing in front of her. He immediately kept his hands on her hands which held puppies and smiled.

"These are mine"he said

"Ohh.. They were running on the road" she said carefully handing over the puppies to him.

"Thank you so much..." he said making sure that they didn't got hurt. But he noticed the scratch in her hands.

"It's fine "she said smiling.

"your arms are injured. " he said

She looked at her arms.

"It's just a small injury.. I'm fine"

"See.. I've hurted you.. "

"Hey no..I'm alright" Vaidhehi said rubbing the dust from her..

"Would you like to keep this puppy with you? " he asked

" No.. Its fine " she hesitated.

"Please. Just for me. Keep it with you. " she smiled and took them in her hands.

"Thanks " she said smiling.

To intruppt them his phone started ringing. It was Vikram's call.

"I need to go. Meet you soon. Take care " he said.

She nodded her head. He went to the other side. She cuddled the puppy again.

"So tell about our plans for tomorrow" Vaidhehi said reading some files

"How can we plan. Without Shiva? " said one of her friend.

"Where is Shiva? " Vaidhehi asked turning around.

"It will take time for Maharaj to arrive. I doubt whether he got up from bed or what "

"Shiva won't be late guys "Vaidhehi turned back and saw him smiling at them.

"Shiva.. Where were you? " Vaidhehi said glaring at him. He held his ears asking for a sorry. She sighed and gave him a smack on his head.

Shiva and Vaidhehi are good friends. He was the first one to accompany her when she started a centre to help poor people. She maintained a good relationship with him. On the other side he had a crush on her from the very first. But he never confessed.

Vaidhehi welcomed her puppy as her new family member. On the other side Adi felt bliss.
