Neither Cam or I spoke a word the whole way home.

Not that it was awkward- actually, it wasn't awkward at all.

He held my hand as we walked through a huge maze of tree branches.

Right now, I don't know what to think of us.

I'm actually confused, I don't know if he likes me as a friend or more than a friend.

And to be honest? I don't know if I like him as a friend or more either.

I guess you could say things are complicated.

"I'll collect you at 7" cam says, while he helps me off his bike.

"Alright, I'll see you then." I say, smiling.

Cameron's still holding my arm from helping me off, and for a minute, I catch him looking straight at me.

I look away and laugh a little.

Cameron looks away too while he laughs.

"See you then." Cameron says, getting back onto his bike.

I turn and walk into my drive, smiling to myself.

I hear his motor start and his bike pull off.

And right at that moment, when I'm a step away from being in the safe environment we call 'home'

I'm forced to turn around as I hear a familiar voice call my name.

Do I even need to state who that person is?

Oh hell, I'll do it anyway.

Matthew Espinosa.

"Taylor?" He calls, like it's a question.

He runs from his lawn over to mine.

"What?" I ask, in an annoyed tone.

"You're with Cameron?" He asks, he slows down to a walk as he gets closer.

His voice is sly and husky and he has that sideways smile drawn across his face.

"No, what? Why? Why are you concerned?" I ask, in a bit of a rush.

Matthew laughs, but it's not an innocent laugh. It's more like the bad boy 'you're pathetic' laugh.

"Isn't it obvious?" He asks, cornering me into a wall just like the first day of school.

"Get off me!" I yell, pushing my hand against his chest.

He doesn't stop, I think he gets a kick out of scaring me.

His hands are at both sides of my head against the wall, he's so close that I don't have to move to be able to touch him.

I tilt my head to the side, I can't stand looking at him.

He try's to kiss my cheek, I jerk my head.

He pulls the tiniest part away from me.

I need to get out of his trap, I know he wouldn't hurt me, he just likes trying to scare me into falling for him.

I'm too close to kick him where it hurts, I can't even rise my leg.

What I do next is the weirdest and most random thing I have ever done in my life.

Matthew doesn't expect it, he's looking at me, when I glance at him, smile, jerk my head, and bite him.

Right now, I have absolutely no conscience. I just want him to leave me alone.
