Chapter 6: The Unexpected Guest

"I don't know anyone your talking about." I say, her face turns to a sad expression but I don't question it. "So what's your house like?" I ask her changing the subject, "well one, it's an apartment. And two, it's kind of big, I mean we have everything, like a kitchen, living, room, two bathrooms, a dining room, and two bedrooms." She says back almost bragging that for the past few days I had to stay here.

~~Time Skip~~

"Well would you look at the time!" Teresa says getting up and grabbing her bag, I look to the clock and see that its already ten. I stand up and take in one more view of the city before following her out the door. 

As we walk through the halls people give me looks, I even heard someone say, "do you think she remembers?" But what the hell does that mean? We come in front of an elevator, and wait for it to open. When the doors open, I see Janson already standing there. He goes out and we go in, but before he leaves he turns back and says, "it's good to have you back Y/N." I smile and nod, but what does he mean by have me back? I don't remember leaving!

When we're finally on the first floor Teresa leads me to a scanner, I remember these things. They're supposed to check if you're healthy, I walk through and and it gives a light ding! No one tried to attack me so I guess I was good, but then the guard pulls me aside and gives me a mask. I take it and put it on, and then I remember. 

I was sitting in a small room with a single chair and a table next to it, a doctor came in and took my blood. I waited patiently for the news to see if I was immune or not, the doctor then came back in with a sad expression. "Not immune." Is all she says.

Right now we're at a crossing spot, I notice that something caught Teresa's attention. I look to where she's looking but a bus was blocking my view, once we were able to cross Teresa doesn't move. And then her mouth falls open in shock, "Y/N follow me and hurry!" She says rushing past the crowd of people. I stand there confused, but once I can't see her I begin to walk. Once the crowd clears up I find her again, she stops and I'm able to catch up to her. She looks in every direction before walking into a space where no one was.

"Teresa what are you doing?!" I yell going after her, "Thomas?" She shouts to whoever she was following, the person turns around to reveal a guy about my age. He then takes his gaze to me and he looks shocked. Wait do I know this guy?

He then speeds up and walks a corner to where we can't see him, Teresa speeds up as well making me run. I meet Teresa in a dark long hallway, "Teresa what are you doing? This doesn't look like your home!" I say, but then she locks her eyes on someone coming out of the dark. 

I turn to face her direction and see the guy from earlier, he takes off his hood to reveal his brown hair. "Hey guys" he says to me and Teresa. I look at him confused, "do I know you?" I ask the guy a little scared.

"Y/N what do you mean?" He asks, wait. "HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?!" I yell getting a little scared,  he then turns to Teresa. "What did they do to her." He says getting mad, "Thomas...." Is all she can say before a guy comes from behind her and puts a bag over her head, the guy with brown hair picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. "PUT ME DOWN YOU FUCKING JERK!" I yell hitting his back and kicking his stomach, but he doesn't seem effected at all.

(Newt's POV)

Ever since Gally and Tommy had left only one thought has been on my mind, Y/N. Will she return with them? Or will she not.

But I'm interrupted from my thoughts when I hear a familiar voice yell, "PUT ME DOWN!" I immediately get up waiting for this persons arrival, I see Gally enter the room with a girl that has a bag over her head. He ties her to a chair and goes to help Thomas with whoever that is. 

But when she comes into view I see it's Y/N, I immediately go over to her but I stop. Something's wrong. They tie Y/N to a chair and take the bag off of the other girls head to reveal Teresa.

"What they do to her?" Tommy asks, I look to him and then to Teresa. She doesn't answer, but Y/N does for her. "Who are you people?! AND WHERE THE FUCK AM I?!" She yells, I walk over to her and she turns her face to me. "Y/N.." I say, but she interrupts me. "Get the fuck away from me." 

"Y/N calm down, I know these people." Teresa says trying to calm Y/N down. Y/N slowly turns her head to Teresa. "Well I don't." Y/N says back with the most sassiest tone, I feel like I've just been shot with a gun in the chest. Does she not remember me?

"Teresa. What did they do to her." Tommy asks calmly, Y/N turns to Teresa eager for an answer. "They took away her memories, from the beginning of the maze to the end of the right arm." Teresa says, "so what your saying is that Y/N doesn't remember any of us?!" I yell at Teresa, she looks to me. "I'm sorry Newt." I begin to feel anger rush over me, and I leave the room so I don't cause a scene.

Once I was alone I begin to cry, she doesn't know me anymore, she doesn't love me anymore.
