Chapter 6: The Unexpected Guest

"Well we can fix it, we can." I say trying to motivate him, "don't worry about me. This is about Y/N and Minho, and now they need us. So if there is even the slightest chance, that we can save them, that we can get them out of there. Then we have to take that, no matter the cost." 

After what he said, I didn't want to argue with him. So I came to an agreement, "okay. I hear you." I say, he nods and then rolls his sleeve back down and just stares at the wall.

A few minutes had passed, "we should get back." He says getting up, I nod and help him up. 

Once back in the room everyone gives us glances, "everything's fine. But we need to get to work." I say to them, everyone gives Newt a glance before getting back to work. How much time do we have left?

(Teresa's POV)

I walk down the halls to one of our interrogation rooms, I was scheduled to meet with Minho. I finally get to the room and Minho is already there, the guards open the door for me and I sit across from Minho waiting for him to talk. "Minho, there's a little girl here. Minho we cured her! And you can cure so many more!" I say trying to motivate him to say something, but he's still as quiet as a mouse. I get from my chair in defeat, "I just wanted to let you know." I say, but before I can open the door I hear a faint, Thomas. 

I turn around, "Minho?" I walk towards him cautiously, he looks up to me and suddenly he gets up and slams me onto the table. "TRAITOR! I'LL KILL YOU!" He screams over and over again, but soon enough the guards come in and take him off of me. I take this chance to get out of the room, I lean on the wall outside the room trying to catch my breath. But then I begin to hear sirens in the distance, a doctor comes up to me. "Teresa they need you in the med-lab, it's urgent." She says in a panic, I immediately rush towards the med-lab and the sirens get louder and louder. Once there I see doctor Paige looking through one of the windows, I go by her side and look into the room. It didn't work, we didn't cure her. "You did everything you could." I hear doctor Paige say, but I didn't want to talk to her. I didn't want to talk to anyone.

I immediately head towards my office, I just need some space.

~~Time Skip~~

After what felt like hours of just sitting at my desk crying, I finally calm down. The sun was gone, and the moon has risen. A doctor then comes into my room, "Teresa. She's ready." The doctor says, I'm then reminded that once Y/N had gotten all her memories back she was ready to head home with me. But once again the thought of her forgetting everything from the beginning of the maze, to right after the right arm, just kills me. 

The doctor then leaves and soon after Y/N walks in, she smiles and sits at a chair from across from me. I begin to laugh when a certain thought comes into my mind, "whats so funny?" She asks me, I look up to her, "well its just the thought that the little sister would be helping the older one." I say laughing louder, she takes in the thought and begins to laugh with me.

(Your POV)

As I laugh with Teresa I remember that she's the only family I have left, and as the laughter dies down I look at the time. It says nine-thirty. "What time do you usually leave?" I ask her, she looks at the clock and says, "ten." I nod and take in the view of the city, "beautiful isn't it?" I hear Teresa say, "yeah. It's nothing like home." I say back, but then right as I say that she turns to me.

"Y/N, do you remember anyone by the name of...Thomas, Minho, Frypan, Alby, Chuck, Brenda, Jorge, Vince, Mary, Sonya, Harriet, Aris, or even Newt?" She asks with tons of curiosity. I look at her very confused, but I still think about those people. Have I met them? Do I know them? But as I dig deeper into my mind nothing comes up.
