Chapter 4: Which Club?

I went out of the classroom and went to find a vending machine. After walking for like 2 minutes, I managed to find one near an open area. I inserted a bill and pressed the button with french vanilla coffee. After hearing a thud below I bend down and took it.

I opened the can and drank it. After about two gulps, I sighed and stared at the sky. Right,I still need to submit a club form. I wonder what club I should join. Should I pursue the Debate club?

"Rina??"I turned to my left and I saw Kageyama.

"Oh hey Kags,Whatcha doing here?"I asked him as I sipped my coffee.

"I'm getting something to drink..." He explained as he points at the vending machine.

"Oh" Then went to the vending machine and he bought a milk. Then,He stood beside me and popped the straw in the carton and sipped it.

"That's your lunch?" He asked me after he took a sip.

"Yup. I'm rather sleepy than hungry. How about you?"

"Same.I was tired of practice..." Then there was silence. It wasn't akward actually but rather, it was comforting.

"What club do you plan to join?" He started again

"I don't know...Maybe Debate club?"

"How about volleyball?We are actually looking for a Female player..."Then he looked at me.

"If you're looking for a female player, why not look in the girl's volleyball team?" I deadpanned

"It's not allowed. And I pretty much prefer you..."He said with a blank face.

"Nah, It's too tiring..." I breathe out and sat on one of the benches.

"But you like volleyball right?"He ask as he sat beside me.

"I like all sports Kags,You know that..." Then I throw the can in the trash bin and it got in making me mentally say 3points.

"But something tells me you love volleyball." Then he gave me a slight smile.

"And besides, you'll be in our team. You'll love it..."

I sighed at him and wore my headphones.

"I'll think about it..." I told him as I stood up from the Bench.

"Great,Tell me if you already decided..." I just nodded and walked back to the classroom.

As I got in, I saw Yamaguchi and Tsukishima almost done with their lunch. I sat back down beside Tsukishima again and I took a book from bag and read it. I saw Tsukishima glance at me while Yamaguchi turned to check on me and he looks like he wants to ask me something.

"Ukai-san?" A boy suddenly approached me making me looked up. I remove my headphones and spoke.

"What?"I boredly said.

"Youjo sensei wants to talk to you.He told me that you should meet him in the Faculty..." I nodded at him and mumbled a thanks. I stood up from my chair and went to the Faculty room. I knocked on the door and went in.

"I'm looking for Youjo sensei?" I asked. Then suddenly a teacher with black hair and glasses stood up and approached me.He looks familiar...

"Your Ukai Rina,right?" He asked as he smiles at me.

"Hai..."

"Youjo sensei got called seconds ago so he left me the task." He explained and I nodded.

"I'm Ittetsu Takeda. A modern literature teacher.I also teach in your class..."He introduced himself.

"So why am I summoned here?"
