The rest of the week flew by. I spent most of my time with Veronica because the guys were being sent to do stuff. Everyone was very secretive about it and something told me it was because I was there. No one would say anything, we would have breakfast and before I knew it the boys would be gone. Magically Veronica would then come and tell me to hang out with her. We couldn't leave the house at all so we could only go to watch a movie (apparently they have a theater. I hate rich people) or to the backyard pool, which I wasn't really feeling.

I haven't really spoken with Nicolas since the night he told me about his brother. He kind of just comes and goes, then helps me train, only to leave again with the guys.

When they would come back, we would have training with me. Lorenzo has talked with me to try and make me comprehend the responsibility behind the job. He said I was surprisingly good to go, but he wasn't going to send me out just yet. He wanted me to start having a look around and getting insight of how things work with the gang, mafia whatever. And until he felt like I could go out on a real job, I would have extensive training to keep me fresh with my fighting.

Three days ago he did a sit together with all of us. Gio, Veronica, the boys and I.

Three Days Ago:

"You wanted to see us?" Veronica said as we both entered the room.

Everyone was already there and it looked as if they were just waiting on us to get there.

"Yes Vee, sit down," Lorenzo signaled the seats and we sat down.

"Gio and I wanted to talk to you kids about something that concerns you directly."

Lorenzo paused and looked down as if not liking what he was about to say.

"We think Angelo may know about your existence. Which makes everything harder."

I looked around the room and everyone but me looked shocked.

I was just completely confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked sheepishly.

Lorenzo looked at me and I could see in his eyes he hadn't realized I didn't know what the hell was going on.

"Right. You don't know. The world we are in is a very dangerous one, and we wanted to keep the family body count to a minimum. Aurora, Giovanni, and I swore to keep the children safe most of all. So we kept you out of any registration. Not one of you appeared as associated with me or any one from the business, for your protection. This kept you hidden from enemies and made it easier for you at school. Angelo never knew about any your existence's which kept you out of harms way. Until recently when he attacked Michael. I think he may have found out that you exist and that you are my biological daughter, and that is why he attacked Michael. It was a way to let me know he knew and he was coming. Now, we aren't sure but we cannot discard the possibility that he knows about all of you. For now I want you all to lay low. Any jobs that need you boys will be done at Il Palazzo, and you are to be escorted until thongs cool off."

Mateo shook his head, "We can't live like this, its not fair."

Lorenzo looked over at him and nodded in understanding, "I knot Mat but I need to protect you guys. Michael made me vow that if anything happened to him, I would take care of you and Gabe like my own and that is exactly what I will do. You are under my rule from now on and this is an unnegotiable order. It is only temporary meanwhile things calm down and then you will be able to live about your normal lives. I don't want to show Angelo weakness so you will do your daily things like nothing is going on, but you will have protection. I promise you we will get Angelo and when this is over you can all rest."
