"Now, shall we go?" I nodded and locked my arm around his as he lead me to the backseat of the limousine.
Once I was secured in, he closed the door and made his way to the driver's seat, taking off towards the event hall.
We sat in comfortable silence. I never felt awkward around Sewoon-sshi. We were both quiet people, so neither of us needed to talk in order to enjoy eachother's company.
But after a while, I got bored and decided to text Jihoon:
Me 🌱: Hey, you in class?
Jihoon 🐹: Yep, mathematics lecture. It's sooo boring noona help 😓
Me 🌱: HAHAHA SUCKS FOR U!! 💩
Jihoon 🐹: Stoppp...you're making me feel bad! Ugh, screw education. I should just drop out and become an idol.
Me 🌱: Yeah, you should. I'd be your #1 fan.
Jihoon 🐹: Awe, thank you. You're so sweet. Anyways, are you there yet?
Me 🌱: Almost. Sewoon-sshi is driving me there.
Jihoon 🐹: Sewoon? You mean your family driver back in Korea?
Me 🌱: Yep, he's here in America now. Why, you know him?
Jihoon 🐹: Of course I do. He was close friends with me & Daniel back in highschool. He barely came to class tho, since he was always busy with driving duty. Now I understand, he was working for you guys the whole time lol.
Me 🌱: Jeez, you make it sound like he's our slave or something. We consider him as family you know.
Jihoon 🐹: I know, he told me how much he loved working for you guys. Lucky him, getting to be around you all the time.
Me 🌱: What do you mean? You're around me alot too.
Jihoon 🐹: Yeah, but not as much as I'd like.
Me 🌱: Uhm..okay. Anyways, we're almost there. Jihoon help, I'm getting nervous again. What if everyone doesn't approve of me?
Jihoon 🐹: Yah! Stop worrying so much! Everyone will love you, I promise. Just remember to breathe, and you'll be fine.
Me 🌱: Lol, I will. but it would've been better if you were here with me.
Jihoon 🐹: I wish I could....but I don't think I'd fit in there. It's only an event for Samsung's business partners, remember?
Me 🌱: I know :( Alright then, I'll text u later k?
Jihoon 🐹: Ok, bye noona! you got this, go kick some ass! 👊
Me 🌱: Sure will 😂
"Y/N-sshi, we're here," I heard Sewoon-sshi say as he parked the car. I look out the window to observe the event hall. The venue was huge, even bigger than the Kang family mansion. It looked big enough to be an olympics dome. Call me impressed.
Sewoon-sshi got out of the driver's seat and proceeded to open the door for me, helping me step out in my delicate heels.
"Enjoy your evening, Y/N-sshi. I'll be waiting here in the same spot to give you a ride home once you're done."
