A wicked smile toys with painted lips. "Well, it seems you brought an army." Abigail glares daggers at her children, her hardening to stone upon the hybrid. "Niklaus, still breathing."

"Yes, our father's century-long escapade still remains fruitless." Elijah snaps.

Dark eyes meet his gaze. "How unfortunate."

"I shall try to remain civil, but should you speak ill of my brother again, you'll spend your last breath begging for your life."

She chuckles. "Business as usual, I see."

Fire burns in Klaus' eyes, a flame that only lessens when he feels Clara's small hand within his own.

"I'm here, that's all that should matter."

Abigail tsks at her daughter. "Selene, you know me better than that." A wild cackle escapes her throat. " I won't just hand your memories. A thousand years, you should know by now that everything has a price."

"And what could I possibly have that you want?"

She smirks. "The question is, my dear daughter, what will you give? I have, whether you know it at this moment or not, something oh so very precious to you. Something far more valuable than your memories."

"Witches," Klaus hisses. "Pain in the ass this century and the last."

"Don't believe me? Perhaps I'll just show you."

Abigail flicks her hand and in a moment Clara begins to fall backward. If it wasn't for the lightning reflexes of the hybrid next to her she would have hit the ground.

"Clara, Clara!" Klaus shakes her shoulders, the white of her eyes causing his stomach to crunch. "Look at me, Clara look at me!" Violent eyes reach across the pavement, glaring daggers at the ancient witch. "What have you done to her!"

Abigail smiles. "I'm just giving her a little taste of the life she's forgotten."
