You found yourself roaming around the forest mounting one of your father's favorite steeds. Although your mother was against the thought of you riding a horse, your father greatly supported the idea and had been the one to teach you how to ride.

Being the petty woman your mother was, she insisted that you road sideways. According to her, it was inappropriate for a princess to be riding a horse. To lessen the disgrace, you had to do it in a 'womanly' way.

Your father came to your defenses, saying that it would be more risky riding that way, with his words, he managed to stop your mother from pestering you regarding the way that you rode.

You breathed in the fresh pines that grew in the forest as you trotted the trail that you usually took. Using your feet to mark it by breaking the branches or by indenting a scratch with the stirrup's pointed end.

It's not like you needed the markers, you knew the trail by heart. Regardless what season it may be, regardless of where you started, regardless of the time of the day.

You ran your hand through the horse's black mane as it stopped to drinking water from the creek.

"It's been awhile since we last went out for a ride." You whispered and the horse neighed in response the moment it finished drinking. You knew that your body would probably hurt the next day but maybe you could use one of the genie's wishes to make you feel better.

The said genie has once again disappeared from sight, this time he warned you that he would be sleeping and to not bother him unless it was an emergency. You rolled your eyes and wondered if he really needed sleep or if he did it for the sake of... lazing around.

As a matter of fact, you saw him sleeping nearly everywhere. You wondered if he put a charm on himself so that the other staff wouldn't see him lazing around. When was the last time that your parents actually mentioned him? It's was like he didn't even exist.

After your horse had been refreshed, the two of you increased your pace as you passed the unending path of trees, rocks, and flowers. Another set of challenges would be held the next day.

Jungkook had managed to win the first game, you watched but your thoughts kept drifting back to the voice and music that gave the dull building life. The words kept repeating in your head.

Somehow, it made you paranoid.

"I must be overthinking things." You murmured as you led your horse into a strangely dark portion of the forest. A couple of minutes in, the path seemed to become foreign and eery.

You felt a shiver run down your spine as you pulled on the reins to stop the horse. You looked around, the trees seemed to be taller and stopped the light from coming in.

"Let's go back." You told your horse as you twisted it's rein to return to where you came from.

"Oh, you're not going anywhere." The sound of an arrow travelling through the air could clearly be heard, it buried into your horse's thigh which caused it to buck into the air causing you to fall. It ran off in panic leaving you in pain on the ground.

You struggled to get up, feeling a tree's root tear the lower part of your dress. The moment that you scrambled up, an arrow narrowly missed you.

You shrieked and began to run, luckily, you opted to wear boots but you weren't sure if it was gonna help you from running. In attempts to keep the arrows from hitting you, you zigzagged through the trees.

Your breathing grew heavy and quick with each step that you took. You weren't sure if you're going to make it but you dismissed your surroundings.

You needed to get out of there.

As if fate was being cruel, you tripped on one of the roots and an arrowly burrowed deeply into your dress, pining you to the ground. There you saw a hooded figure approach you with a bow in his hands.

From a distance, you could see the person pull an arrow out of the quiver. You struggled to pull the arrow to free yourself but the person must have been really strong to bury it deep into the ground.

The man began to pull on the arrow, you knew that it was aimed at you.

And you knew that this time, he had no intention of missing.

You braced yourself and tightly shut your eyes. Even if you freed yourself from the arrow, even if you managed to get up, he wouldn't miss.

"Yoongi, saved me please." You unconsciously whispered.

You knew that the man fired, you heard the arrow ripping through the air.

"Argh!" Your eyes tightened more but you realized that the groan hadn't come from you. Slowly opening them, you realized your breath when you saw a figure in front of you. A gasp escaped you when you saw Yoongi standing there, the arrow had been buried into his stomach.

He twisted it out, "Damn bastard." He cursed before snapping his finger. Instantly, the arrow flew into the air, going back to the person who first fired it. A garbled scream could be heard from the other person before he scrambled to run away.

"You're hurt." The blood had stained the white polo he had on. He sighed and ran a finger through his blonde unruly hair.

"Should have done more to that guy than shoot him with an arrow." You watched his eyes fire up as he snapped his finger and instantly, his shirt had been changed and you assumed that his wound had been healed. "Are you okay?"

"Yoongi!" You shouted with glee as he snapped his fingers to get rid of the arrow that held you down. You didn't know why you did it, but you threw your arms around his neck and buried your face into his chest.

You sobbed. Your fingers tightening around his back as he tensed.

After a couple of seconds, you felt his warm hands on your back as he hugged back. Trying your best to soothe you as your sobs died down.

You pulled away to look at him in the eye which were full of worry.

"How did you know that I needed you?" You nearly blushed at the word that you used but tried to dismiss it. He smiled, a smile that caused your heart to beat faster than ever.

"I," He seemed to be unsure of what to say, but you waited anyways, "I just felt the need to look for you." Uncharacteristically, he avoided your eyes and looked into the distance. "I was worried about you."

You couldn't help but hug him again and engulf yourself in his warmth. You wondered why it was him that you first looked for and wanted to save you. You couldn't help but smile at the thought that you were literally a princess in distress. But instead of a knight or another prince.

A genie had saved you.

And you wouldn't have it any other way.
