Part 13

The next morning Tony was the first to wake, he slowly leaned himself  up against the wall and looked down at the peacefully sleeping Loki. He carefully brushed the now messy black hair out of Loki's face and smiled softly to himself.

" Sir. The avengers are at the door" Jarvis said "Tell them I'm asleep" he said and laid back down and  put his arms around Loki "Sir they are insisting" Jarvis said "just say I'm sleeping" he said and closed his eyes.

"Sir There has been a security breach" Jarvis said and a minute later the door to thee bed room was kicked open causing Morgan to start crying and Loki to wake. Tony groaned and sat up "Loki could you take care of Morgan and I'll take care of the security breach" Tony said

"Yes love" Loki said and kissed Tony before getting up and picking Morgan up "Don't Move" Natasha said and pointed her weapon at him Loki shrugged and walked back to the bed and sat down cradling Morgan

"I said don't move" Natasha said sternly "You're not going to shoot me while i'm holding Morgan"  Loki said calmly and Natasha lowered her weapon. Tony stood up "What the hell Steve I said Loki wasn't  a threat" Tony said angrily to Steve 

"Just because you don't think he isn't dangerous doesn't mean that is" Steve said "So now you don't respect my judge of character?" Tony said angrily "No I'm saying you might be blinded by love" Steve said

"Blinded by love?!" Tony said angrily, Loki placed a hand on Tony's arm "They have a point Love, I have a history of betrayal" Loki said softly, he then turned to the avengers "What can I do to convince you that I'm not who I was?" He asked

"Start by telling the truth" Steve said "I have already told you the truth" Loki said "I Don't believe that for a second" Clint said  "isn't there a lie detector at S.H.I.E.L.D?" Tony asked "There is" Natasha said reluctantly

They took Loki to the 'ultimate' lie director and started to ask question him. "Why did you attack New York?" Natasha asked "To get caught" Loki said "Why?" Natasha asked "To get away from Thanos" Loki said

"Who is Thanos" Natasha asked "A Destroyer of worlds, he is the owner of the chitauri" Loki said "Why did you want to get away from him?" Natasha said "He tortured me, He threatened everything I loved and he threatened my life and sanity if I didn't bring him the tesseract" Loki said

"Why did he want the tesseract?" Natasha asked "It contains an infinity stone" Loki said "What is an infinity stone?" Natasha asked "Powerful items from the beginning of time that can be used as weapons" Loki said

"Why are back on earth?" Natasha asked "For a new start" Loki said "Why were you on earth when you first met Tony?" Natasha asked "I was put on midgard as a punishment  for a joke that went to far" Loki said

"Why did you go after Tony?" Natasha asked "Because I found him attractive" Loki said "Why did you pursue a relationship with Tony?" Natasha asked "Because I fell in love" Loki said  "Why did you propose to him if yo knew you had to leave?" Natasha asked 

" I did it so I could actually feel that someone loved me back" Loki said "Why?" Natasha asked "What do you want me to say? that i feel worthless and like no one would care if I died, that the neglect from my father and overshadowing from my brother made me feel like i  had to prove myself to my father by destroying an entire race only to find out that I was actually of that race and not Asgardian as I thought.

 And even after all that when I was desperate for recognition for love or attention all my father said was 'no'. That I actually tried to take my life but I fell into the hands of Thanos were I was tortured until I agreed to get the tesseract where I then had to meet the only person I've ever loved on a battlefield and to find out that he had fallen in love with someone else.

Then to be taken to asgardian prison where the only one who went to see me was my mother and then she dies because of something petty I said, That my brother only came to see me too  get my help to save his love. 

That I have killed so many and hurt even more? That it all makes me feel like death would be mercy? 

That the only thing keeping me alive is that Tony is still breathing and that he has a son who lost his mother like I did, that the thought of a child loving me like I loved my Mother despite blood relations made me feel properly happy for the first time in years?" Loki said just spilling his feelings his eyes getting glossy

"Was that what you wanted to know?" Loki said collecting himself, Natasha stood there stunned for a bit before releasing him "Your free to go" She said. Loki got up and left not looking back, once he was out of there he headed over to Tony.

The two hugged and shared a kiss. "What was that about you turning blue?" Tony asked "What?" Loki asked confused "There was a video feed without sound" Tony said "Did it look like this?" Loki said and transformed into his frost giant self "Yeah that" Tony said

"It's how I'm supposed to look, I'm not asgardian i'm a frost giant" Loki said and transformed back "I like it" Tony said and smirked, they grabbed Morgan and went back home.
