He was in a rather small room, lying on the floor. Wasn't he dead? Was he in the hospital? If he was, this was a crappy hospital; why was he on the floor?

"Hah?" Jiwon blurted aloud. What the heck was this monotone, robotic voice??

"Oi oi! That's too in detail!" Jiwon sat up in an instant, looking around for the owner of the voice.

Pfft... 1004? This system was either unlucky or quite strange. Wait... system??
"What the heck are you talking about? What system? Rebirth?" He furrowed his brows in confusion. "Is this a prank? Is Alex waiting behind the door?"
[Don't worry, this is not a prank. You have simply been "reanimated" after your death. You are actually dead in your world.]
"THAT'S NOT EXACTLY REASSURING."
[I apologize. Let me explain in depth about your current situation. Your entire life has been filled with misfortune, correct?]

This silly person nearly fell back down in surprise. "What? You heard that?"
[Of course. It would be strange if you were in another world and suddenly started having a one sided conversation with yourself.]
Jiwon was really getting tired of this cold, monotonous voice his system had. "Ah, is there anyway I can change your voice...?"
[Of course host. Would you like me to change?]
