"happy? I'm going"he said and she pulled him closer, giving a light peck on his cheeks.

He smiled and kissed her forehead..
"take care.. call me of anything is wrong"
She nodded smilingly.. He walked outside the room.. Vaidhehi rested her head in the pillow.. She still felt weak. She dozed off. She slept for almost an hour. Just then she felt two palms around her eyes..
"Priya.. "she said smiling

"you catched me this time too.. "priya pouted and hugged her. She Hugged her back
"Why all of a sudden?" Vaidhehi asked
"Came for a meeting here. So just thought of visiting you. How are you?" Priya sat besides her
"Just...fine"
"Vaidhu.. Adi told me that you are feeling unwell and you are refusing to go to the doctor." She glared at her
"So he relayed this news to you. " Vaidhehi asked pouting. Priya laughed.
"Because he knows that only I can convince you"she said proudly
"No..priya...I'm just..."
" you fainted few days ago right?"Priya intrepted her. Vaidhehi nodded
" Just come with me.. Lets go to the doctor.. "she got up and dragged her hand's
"Priya...."
"Vaidhu...don't be silly. Come"she dragged her up. Vaidhehi finally gave in.
They went to the hospital. Vaidhehi had all her tests done. After few minutes they waited outside for the result. They began to talk casually.
15 mints later they called her inside
"I hope everything is okay" priya said to herself as they walked inside. The doctor looked at them and smiled.
"please sit.. "
They sat opposite to her
"doctor.. is everything fine? Actually she fainted before few days before and she was refusing to come to the hospital.. " priya blabbered. Vaidhehi glared at her. The doctor smiled
"Yeah...the results came..all fine" she said and priya breathed in relief.
"Vaidhehi.. Where is your husband? "The doctor Asked
" He went to the office doctor.. Why? "She asked
"No... nothing.... anyway...your results.."she went through the file and smiled at them. Vaidhehi kept Looking at her
"Vaidhehi... youre going to bring a new life into this world" the doctor announced happily.
Vaidhehi and Priya looked at each other, surprised..
"doctor.. ?"
"congratulations Vaidhehi.. You are going to become a mother.. "she said. Vaidhehis eyes welled up. She couldn't believe her ears. Priya smiled brightly and held her hand's. Vaidhehi smiled brightly and touched her Belly with her hands. She got happy tears..she couldn't believe that a small life is growing inside her..
"It's the Beggining of a new phase of life Vaidhehi. All the very best. And take care of yourself. You know...you should be more careful for the first 3 months. "
"sure... Doctor.. " vaidhehi smiled with tears
"so next time, come with your husband for detailed check up okay?"

Once they were outside. Priya pulled her for a very tight hug.
"Oh my. God..Vaidhu... congratulations" she hugged her more. Vaidhehi couldn't stop smiling. The doctor was right. She was going to start a new phase of her life.
