Chapter 3. Mallory's P.O.V, the same day, 35 minutes later.
The black ford pulled into the airport's parking lot. The car slid to a screeching stop, and I opened the door. I was taking my LAST look at Denver, Colorado for who knows how long.I slid out, Daniel following me. Since we were in a pickup, the suitcase was in the backseat right next to where Daniel was sitting. I grabbed the red suitcase, pulled the handle up to roll it around later, and grabbed my extra pair on converse on the seat, dropping them on the cement and putting the suitcase on the cement.
"My last look at Denver." I thought, and spinning around like the people did in the movies when the place was like a fairytale, I ran smack into one of the hottest guys I've ever seen. Just like the movies. Little did I know, but he was taking the same plane to Laguna Beach.
"Hey." He smiled, a quirky smile.
"oh my gosh! I am so sorry" I told him.
"Uh, I think you dropped this." He handed me my coverse.
Oh great. So it was JUST like Cinderella. Except I have a black shoe instead of a glass one.
Great.
