A loud yawn escaped Areo's mouth as he sat on top of my head I rolled my eyes at him with a small smirk

"That's what you get for staying up so late!" I teased. He huffed and raised an eyebrow "Lotte snoring? Are you sure you weren't kept up from a certain book" I asked. He stayed silent making me chuckle. I stretched as I sat up, a slight groan escaping me. Aero barked and I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows "I know, I know. It won't be an easy conversation and I don't exactly trust them" I told Aero crouching down to his height.

He whined and I pulled him off my head setting him on my pillow. My feet touched the floor and I sighed. My eyes flicked to the already made beds. The others had already gone. Maybe I could stay in today? Wasn't like I needed to learn to fly on a broom. I shook my head, I was already in enough trouble. I waved my wand using a spell on my clothing. Aero barked

"Of course I didn't forget you!" I cooed. I unzipped my small bag and pulled out the witch hat plopping it onto his head. He gave a grin and I chuckled "very dapper" I teased and he poked his tongue out. The bells chimed and I jolted slightly. Aero barked and I gasped "my fault? How's this my fault?" I asked. Aero barked and I hummed "good point. But you slept in too" I muttered. I grabbed my broom from the rack and put it under me "Tia Freyre" I said and the broom instantly hovered beneath me.

I opened the window flying out, grabbing Aero on my way. I put him on the back of my broom. I wrapped my hands around the broom tightly looking back to Aero

"You ready?" I asked. He bit onto the back of my uniform tightly before nodding. I licked my lips. I closed my eyes taking a deep breath "broom, get us to where we're going quick" I whispered.

It was silent for a minute before the broom almost animatedly riled back before going forward full force. I squealed ducking low as I could on the broom. My eyes shut tight. I'd never get use to it. I opened my eyes wide as the broom slammed to a stop, ripping up the roots of the grass and making hats flutter off in the wind

"Sorry I'm late!" I apologised before anyone could ask. I got off my broom with a small nervous smile. I pat my broom lightly "thank you" I whispered. I gave a small chuckle as I hopped in line beside Lotte. With a smile

"Be more punctual next time, Miss L/n" she scolded before coughing lightly "All right. Begin!" She said clapping her hands together. I licked my lips watching as the others put their brooms under them and awkwardly followed suit

"Tia Freyre!" They all said and I stuttered out the spell following them. I spotted Barbara and quickly sped up to her side

"What are we doing?" I asked confused and she turned up her nose at me "Barbara. Don't do this" I pouted. She sighed looking at me from the corner of her eye. I flew in front of her flying backwards "how long have you, Hannah, Avery and I been friends?" I asked with a smile

"Since we've been at Luna Nova" she muttered "you and Diana use to be friends too" she said annoyed. My shoulders sagged slightly at her words "we all use to be so close but then..." she trailed and I stopped my broom, hovering in place. I looked away "and now you always fight" she muttered "why?" She asked

"She and I are different. We have conflicting ideas sometimes" I said shifting awkwardly "we're still friends" I said my hands fiddling with my broom

"Go talk to her now without arguing" she dared and I ducked my head looking to Diana who was getting praised by everyone for her time. My eyes narrowed "you can't even look at her" Barbara said with a frown. I took a deep breath flying down to Diana wearing a tight-lipped smile

"Nice job, Diana!" I complimented, she folded her arms a scowl on her face. My eye twitched slightly but I managed to keep the false smile on my face

"I'd like to see you do better" she challenged and I raised my hands in surrender. My jaw tightened lightly. The glint in her eyes made me want to prove her I could

"I didn't mean- I wasn't being-" I tried and she just scoffed with that smug look on her face turning to talk to Hannah who glanced at me with sympathy "whatever" I muttered a pointed glare towards her
